We’re aware of instances of live prices not updating recently for some stocks.
I hope to assure you we're equally disappointed that this is happening. To provide further detail of the problem, we're currently experiencing an issue with the data we're receiving for live prices. Our live prices are streamed to us from a third party data provider, however once it reaches us the prices don't update as expected. In fact what happens is the prices become static and don't move for some time. We've identified the cause of this is due to certain types of data that's being streamed to us, which is why it only affects a select number of stocks as opposed to every stock on the platform.
When this issue occurs we're able to identify it and begin to work on a short term resolution in means of a workaround to get the prices updating again, however this doesn't prevent the issue from reoccurring.
The overall fix that will prevent further instances is currently underway and is a very high priority with our IT team. It's a large undertaking and as such we don't have any further details at present including any timeframes.
I understand the situation is far from ideal, but I hope I can also assure you that we're taking this incredibly seriously and are doing everything we can to resolve this as quickly as possible.
