....is there not scope for a restructured deal involving significant dilution that would still result in the SP being 5 to 10 times higher than the current SP
RR. I've just been reading your posting history. With interest. You got out just in time before the fall from 10p. Up until the pull of the bonds you were optimistic on the share price reaching up to 60p within a year.
"The current SP is just 14% below the most recent 'pre-bond crisis' trade low of 12.92p on 19 Jun. The SP recovered to hit a trade high of 21.08p on 12 Jul. Based on this, it's not unreasonable to expect the SP to hit 20p within a month of the bonds being sold. After that, I'm sure we'll see the usual ups and downs until full production is reached. After that, a progressive 1 year climb into the 40-60p range."
I too sold before the 10p crash but I'm back in because I have a gut feeling that there's a deal to be done that doesn't involve wiping out the long suffering shareholders. I'm sure you share the same hope as me, unless of course you've gone short..

Chesh, as an engineer, I've be following they aren't without their problems. One of their main issues has been their holding down bolts. Specifiically, a lack of consideration of pre-tension in the bolts has made a few of them fall over. The other problem they suffer from is the gearboxes overheating and exploding. ...and then there's trumps cancer concerns... also they mess up birds and bats No just by chopping them up but also by interfering in some way with them. They've found numerous dead bats in the vicinity. But as with everything - they've serve a purpose. Everything on m this earth behaves in a way that affects another. Every action n all that...
"The British Geological Survey believe there could be 1,300 trillion cubic feet of shale gas under the north of England."
After exhausting the north of its shale gas, we can pump the voids full of sea was thus helping counter the rise in sea levels. Sorted

The problem I have with global warming is that it's generally quite cold where I live and in the past few years we've never had it so good. I was even able to ditch the string vest for 3 days in August.
Also, I live quite high up so again I'm not too concerned. Unlike those in the south east city folk, fortunately though, they protected by the Thames barrier flood gates, build by Cleveland Bridge at Dent's WHARF on the River Tees (which is a stone's throw away from the Redcar Bulk Terminal port that SXX has signed a 30 year lease to use)
I digress, we still have a huge reliance on gas. It currently makes up 41% of our energy consumption - compared to 24% of renewables.
I'm all for clean energy. I think wind and solar will play a greater part. Local solar power on all new builds would be good.
But what boils my wee wee is the politicisation of climate change- I know they have to in order to force the more populous nations to get on board (india, China, US, Russia) but I can't stand it. Middle class twits and hippies with nothing better to do blocking the streets, and chaining them selves to railings. Did you all walk to the protest or did you come in your electric car? And if you did arrive on a milk float when do you think it got its power from.
Then there's the science. The caps are definitely melting more, glaciers are retreating. But is this a direct result of the circa 70 million people living in the UK and will us building more wind minds remedy the problem. We've had our industrial revolution. Its China in India turn now. Unfortunately, their population is cica 3 billion people (about38%) of the world population, the scale of CO2 damage from their farts alone will far outweigh the damage we caused in the last 100 years. The problem, If you believe there is one, is far bigger than this lil island. You could take the insular view that if we all turned our lights off in the UK it's make no difference in the scheme of things.
Also, we don't have any long term global warming data. This warming could be a natural cyclic event.
Right, I feel better now, I'm off for a title round gods country in my 6ltr V8.
Malkis, you been putting poly4 on your weed?
Thanks

"What is preferential allotment of shares?
Preferential allotment is the issue of shares or other securities by a company to any selected person or group of persons on a preferential basis. Private placement refers to the offer of securities by the company to a selected group of investors. Security. Securities are offered to any investor who wishes to obtain a stake in the company"
Malkis - what's it mean? Has someone acquired £17.5 million worth of SXX shares???
Hopefully they are done milking this cash cow
Chilling, I agree, informed opposing arguments allow for a balanced interpretation. Take Casapinos (English translation: house of groins) he was public enemy number 1 and pretty much shot down when he expressed his concerns last year, and predicted this decline. He was right.
Reasoned arguments are welcome. Less welcome are the windup merchants just here to upset the forum with one liners like: 'this share is toast'.
These people are just here cause upset and promote their own agenda and don't worry me at all. They can go and ski of a cliffedge as far as I'm concerned.
Kingivor - I've recently got back in on SXX at 3.5p and bet on 3p being the bottom - for this we need positive news. Not definitive, but just enough to reverse the current, seemingly, terminal decline of the sxx.
Positive news after the bell today would be brilliant. But been here long enough not to know better. We shall see. Its exciting in a morbid kind of way.
McGill- how was my post - hope you enjoyed it. If not, try reading it backwards, I've included some cryptic clues to the future fait of SSX. REKNAW A SI REIKS. LOL
Micgill. Welcome to the club. I didn't enjoy reading your post either. Made me feel really insecure. I'm crying writing this
