Did you see what Brian paid himself. The man has no shame!
It's called a free ride versus having skin in the game
Wow. Did you see that massive set of buying by directors post results. Breathtaking. There's real belief in the future
They are delivering on plan. No shocks. For the first time in 18 months I feel that we have a sustainable business in the right place at the right time. Investor communication is better. This now might become investable for institutions especially if there is a broker and PR refresh. That should help the share price to rise to the mid to upper 20s which should be the base for much higher gains when further progress is demonstrated. That Tosca takeover will also shine more brightly as time progresses. Look forward to 830 call. All in all, quite happy
Results due 17 May. By 22 June, the max price Tosca have to pay for a bid under takeover code is 31p..which on a weighted average basis gets them the whole business for less than 30p/share or 15p ex cash. Given that Griffiths/Tosca and Lynch would my guess be part of a bidding consortium, tosca only need to pay for less than 60pc outstanding ie, ex cash £36m. Most shareholders will sell up at 30p. You only need to see retail selling panic in the run up to results as the mms play games to conclude that 30p is bite my hand off territory. The business is actually worth nearer 60p in my humble opinion.
So market makers happy to take your stock at 16.5 but don't want you to buy hence 18 offer. No prizes for guessing why!
Never have I seen a market so cornered. I have watched l2 like a hawk and the ways the mms widen and close the spread and I can guarantee that a very big position is being filled. Everything I see points to a very positive upside to trading. Operationally things are infinitely better than a year or 6 months ago. Schroders posts are excellent. I am convinced that the company will show better cash than the market expects and that profits are beginning to flow. A current market cap ex cash of zero is insane. What games we can play in close periods. Be a smart investor and follow the Internetq timeline! The end game is truly nigh
The devil will be in the detail in the results in 3 weeks. But I have done a ton of analysis on the business and talked to a lot of industry experts - I have a lot of relevant knowledge and contacts - and am inclined now to be cautiously optimistic. If cash is genuinely being preserved there is no downside from here
Complete retail capitulation. Perfect for the pros. Company now valued at c£5m ex cash. Last 6 months, ex one deferred payment the company burnt zero cash. Modest profits are forecast for the new year on restructured cost base with over £100m revenue. Competitors buying back shares so race to bottom has ended. Consolidation inevitable. Anyone selling now is mad!
No one posting anymore Retail selling Close period so not a word from the company Market cap about to hit cash value Some very odd trades with lots of algos and mm games Someone also stake building. Lots of 50 and 100 k buys over the last week And a worked position being run While the company hasn't helped itself, they are not that stupid. They have been happy to keep the price low for a reason. This is a prelude to a Tosca/Balderton/Griffiths takeover. Mark my words. Dirt cheap right now, retail have thrown in the towel. Perfect timing. Management will roll over into a private vehicle and make off like bandits down the track.
Has anyone ever wondered why he still sits on the board or what he does, why we never hear from him any more and why he bailed ship to join Balderton private equity? Do you think Balderton, as a savvy tech investor, always wanted to give itself an option to buy Blinkx by having SC in their ranks. I wonder whether the relationship between BM and SC is difficult and only BM's options at 50p and determination to stay as CEO would stop a deal being done? I wonder if BM would think of himself above shareholders? I wonder if Balderton have ever talked to Tosca or the Board? At the current share price the shareholder pressure to make change must be overwhelming. My gut feel is that we must be at the start of the end game, whatever that might be?
