PT shareholders will cost us about £117 K roughly which isn't a lot

Its true we are doing the 900 back in derby but its not quite as simple as R- R work back in the UK.Satu isnt shutting down they will be getting plenty of engines to build next year and in future years.It wouldnt be possible or viable to build all engines in derby, plus we dont have the capacity to test them with that sort of volume .£7.00 with potential for growth is cheap, so for me its a no brainer and i am a consistant buyer of these shares.

It would be most welcome to get some positive news with no ambiguity for the other side to spin.A Contract win or renewal I think we all need it to raise the gloom overhanging us.Why does every headline have to start with beleaguered,whatever follows that headline puts a negative spin on events.For investors sake give us a level playing field and let us shake that monkey off our back.

I'm a little confused by the wording in the rns,surely rns,s should be crystal clear which ours don't apparently seem to be.IM an investor and just want to know at this point what I'm investing in,this seems to be an unknown at this moment in time which is very poor.The fact is I think we were all under the impression that a pound was to be paid initially followed by a further 10 pence,not 90 pence followed a year later by 10 pence.A lot at money has gone missing curtesy of our former bod now I just want some of mine back please as staighted via previous rns.

December payout then a clear strategy is what's needed if they want shareholders to buy into it.They are paid handsomely by us to look after shareholder value.Obviousely the institutions have the biggest clout but we deserve acknowledgment too ,zero direction so far but with an even greater war chest now the near 50 million held back....more news please!

Make a statement/announcement stick to it simples don't make promises you can't keep.you are feeding the trolls and not looking after shareholder value if you carnt comply.

My understanding is that it was the major investors that removed RT and must have signed off the new board,I for one think that we have actually come a long way from the Terry days and I'm sure the direction will be laid out over the next few months

Excellent summery of events makes a change from reading dross,we have to trust that the board made the only choice possible.Could we have borrowed money to see us through having had £200,000,000 via institutional investors who knows.Lets see if the new ceo can dust us down and build again ps I'm sick of seeing sgh adverts on TV it pains me.

you are corrct with that statement ajb, shame the new sharesave wasnt increased to £500 gutted.

The last one was £9.61 not £9.20 recieved an email yesterday confiming the new offer will be out after the 2nd of September and remember the next one should be £500 limit

I dont welcome their investment on a personal level this could cost british workers their jobs.The only thing activist are interested in is the shareprice for their shareholders.Rolls - Royce is the one thing left that is truely british,the car side has gone to the Germans and the Yanks wont give a toss about the british worker.We are iconic innovative and world leaders in our field through design and production,they will give with one hand and take away with the other.Earnings are flat but hey we have just grown through the recession how many companies have done that,the world has stood still for a while but when it decides to grow again Rolls- Royce will be at the front to pick the baton up
