Given the mounting loss of revenue the travel industry is loosing there needs to be a better and safer way forward?

Agree it is time consuming but wearing a face mask and taking temperatures is a feel good demonstration that won’t limit the spread of the virus. Major airlines are being put to the sword and the travel industry is on its knees. Testing is cheaper and simpler than the current alternatives

@magsy. Totally agree it’s doesn’t come without a logistical burden, that said self-isolation 2 weeks either side of travel is unrealistic and won’t stop or control international transition.

I am sure if I was at the airport and found to test positive then having my flight plans disrupted would be the least of my worries. Move from the testing pen through the track and trace pen and prior to heading home leave your details with the travel insurance rep for a refund or rebook?
