I'm thinking the main construction funding will be through KMUK/ LMLB and not the parent companies. KOD has $3.5m draw down available now with a sustainable cash burn of circa $1.5m per year to remain operational. As an explore with other assets I believe they would want to remain sustainable.

Once the Mali GOV sign of I believe the Construction draw down will become available to KMUK/ LMLB. I think it will be staged payments with full amounts promised on paper.

Just a thought, which company will be undertaking the construction of the road that is planned to start in October?

Xinmao (Hainan) and Kod are currently joint share holders of KMUK. KMUK was established to jointly conduct the construction/ operation of Bougouni.

The road won't be a quick job and more than likely involve many roads. I would have thought, for liability , that this work would be conducted by the new company KMUK rather than the exploration company KOD. I can understand KOD having a long term drilling contract with Capital as that is what KOD is all about, but not taking the brunt of the liability for the construction.

Does this mean the formalities will be over in October? Or advanced enough to start the Joint Venture work scope?

The optimist in me says this can happen. It’s Friday KOD & Hainan are sat at the top table, faces beaming.

The announce Mali sign off, funding projections, Hainan placement and then role out the construction plans starting October/ November.

The pessimist would say we will have a good presentation of the future plan. Construction works will be the road and the order book will be filled on funding. The Mali Government will still be reviewing the agreement and sign off will be tantalisingly close.

Probably somewhere in the middle of the above 2. Bernie doesn’t give much away, he doesn’t give actual timelines, just vague suggestions. He sometimes implies that something is about to happen.

Remember he announced that he was working on a great deal for the shareholders. When eventually announced it was a great deal. Did he not imply that the AGM would be good?

We don’t know enough about what talks have gone on. It can’t be far away and there aren’t any negatives, other than the loss of patience with some people.

Exciting times ahead.

I think they won't delay and will allow the contractor to construct the mine as per their design and costs, and as long as it meets social and environemental standards, which KOD/ HN have conducted studies on to prove that it will.

Once the big RNS lands the volume will be again massive..... a waiting game. Whilst we wait it is always interesting to read through the Fire Finch announcements, very similar route of application...

I also remember reading previously that the DNGM can turn round a sign off within 10 days... I can't find the source so don't quote me.

Multi-million dollar projects take time. If you rush them you can end up with a plant that doesn't work and in debt due to poor contracts....

Next week could be interetsing if this is the warm up RNS prior to the AGM.

- LMLB- confirmed registered in Mali.

- Phase 1 DMS Change notification submitted. Supported by Environmental studies.

- Final Mali approval required before funding draw down can commence.

- Final investment decision to be formalized.

- Meeting Held with DNGM – 19-09-2023.

- DNGM Confirmed License is valid under 2019 Mining Code.

- Road upgrades to commence circa October 2023 (At the end of the rainy season).

Interesting potential resource increase:

-further bolstered by the already significant resource at Sogola-Baoulé which alone totals 12.2Mt @ 1.10% Li2O.

When other shares go blue people tend to jump ship rather than have stagnant money sitting around.
