I wrote to UFO last year re the four month to lodge a complaint. The law as that time was clear as in my email.

It has since changed to give much more power to LNAC, but this July was recinded. The old regimen is I presume restored?

The extract I refer to was on the KNAC website, since removed. If any of you know how to access Google wayback machine, it would be useful to find the original PDF.

"Further to my request dated 19 Jan 23.

I have now read the KNAC procedure document

The relevant pages 7-9.

May I draw your attention to the following salient passage

"The onus (responsibility) is still on the Native Title Party (KNAC) to

object against the application of the expedited procedure within a

period of 4 months from the notification day. If no objection is

received within the four (4) month statutory objection period, the

future act may be done (i.e. tenement may be granted)."

By implication, if the 'Notification day' was prior to Oct.2022 then the 4 month objection period has now lapsed.

Can you please confirm or otherwise if this is the case.
