This is by far the most likely reason for the strange SP activity of late.

I have sold 9million over the last ten days. I will not be alone. The risk factor compared to say 3 months ago is massive.

They have identified numerous new rich veins of quarts. Time to go all out to monetise it. They can do further exploration as they go.

PS I have sold another million today. Down to 14m. we need to see action not platitudes like the tweet today regarding graphite at Amitsoq. Dig some or sell the prospect.

My personal view..
Gold is there but in nugget formations. Many tons of quarts will need to be excavated before lady luck lands on a bonanza pocket.
Traditionally, the miners did not use a water shuffle table, They broke the quarts ore by hand and picked out the visible gold.
I feel GF thought that by revisiting the old extracted ore and reworking through a shuffle table, he would find significant amounts just waiting to be 'concentrated'. I fear he did not.

I still believe we will find gold. I also believe graphite and Ilminite have a masive potential.
This said, as you know I reduced my holding from 23m to 15m over the last couple of weeks.
There is risk, and there is excess risk.

Where did you find the date for this years results? I know they usually release end March.

PS. The main asset (valuation) in last years results were HH at £5m. I expect the auditors to heavily write this down. The other assets have not materialy changed. I also know that Alba followers see potential, but auditors are more pragmatic.

I may have held the SP down over the last week or so. I have sold 8million. My holding is now 15m where I feel much more comfortable.

I don't expect to gain anything.

It does however start to explain why in my case I have sold 5million in the last 6 trading days.

I will not be alone in my choice. So the drop in SP should viewed against reality.

Why not? It is a fact.

I intend to get down to 15M, that in it's self is a statement of belief in the company.

But realism should always rule your portfolio weighting.

If we end up significantly int Q2 with no real news. Then the SP will be in the low .2 pence

We all know GF's character. If he had good assay or visible gold he would be all over the media displaying it.

Back in January he showed a sample of 'concentrate' and spoke of 20.7g per tonne OF CONCENTRATE. That is a very low amount indeed.

I have been lowering my holding this last week from 23million (it's still 19million). I am braced for bad news.

Long term Greenland should be good. Perhaps gold in Wales will be good? As we know the deposits are nuggety, so a degree of luck is required when bulk sampling.

Had GF said 20.7g per tonne of ore. I too would be very happy. But he didn't. He said 20.7g per tonne of concentrate.

No it did not say that. I and others have written to Alba for this to be cleared up. What he said in very round about terms was that they got 20.7g per tonne of CONCENTRATE. A very low figure indeed.
