I don't doubt the board of AA would have had their minds soley on rebuffing BHP. And half expecting a 'hostile bid' to follow.

Perhaps now that things have calmed down they may revist some of the earlier relatively minor matters such as the deal with UFO.

Either way it fully explains why it all went cold.

Certainly if we return our hand will be very weak and even worse terms should be expected.

It was a technical interview. So no commercial content.

Whilst JV negotiations are ongoing, there can be NO INFORMATION released.

Why this is so hard to grasp is beyond me.

"The problem is that it was a technical interview with a technical director. Market only wants to hear about a deal, I get that, but more info out the better.

Company made clear they would likely place before year end if a deal not signed.

But I remain hopeful we will get one before this happens. It may not look like it from a sp standpoint but there is decent corporate progress going on. Happy to hold."

What was vaguely funny two weeks ago is now bloody boring.

The need for a placement was mentioned earlier as a requirement by NOMAD who insisted on it.

We do seem adequately funded for the short term future.

I hope we are very careful with additional drilling and field work. A JV. is the absolute priority for now.

I thought the financial info was informative.
