I think #2 and news on Gollieth,Diablo will happen very soon. The backlog at the assay labs should clear in 6 - 7 weeks.

SD was very enthusiastic talking about the 'core sample yard'. The geologists involved will know what the assay results will confirm. I expect great things.

On the subject of takeover. It becomes less likely as the weeks pass. To be viable, it needs a takeover of Newcrest and GGP.

I don't think even RIO could mannage that.

Newcrest will be a long standing and major customer to the assay lab. There is no way they will be put at the back of the queue.

There has to be an RNS with important new info., Posibly simultaneous with Newcrest. Nothing else makes any sense.

Or am I over thinking?

they were drilling hoping to find a reservoir of liqufied natural gas. They found traces in the wire logs from the bore itself.

Ther was not a reservoir of gas as PG said he was "very very confident of success" finding
