I owned PHC some time ago 1pencil, obviously have no idea how long you’ve had them but I had them when Monsanto were rumoured to bid for them. Quite a journey.

Crazy to see the sp at current price but have not followed the share for some time. Hope you did well out it

A long time ago I was looking to buy some Ashtead shares around 45p, I won’t forget because I was put off from buying them. Listening to noise. They moved around a bit up and down…. If you look at what happened with Ashtead eventually you will see why I won’t forget.

Point is, everyone invests for their own reason but listening to noise can result in errors being made.

Personally, I am a long term holder here until the end or until I’m satisfied and I’m not letting anyone put doubt in my mind. If it doesn’t happen then it’s on me but it will happen. The market is a place where anyone can freely buy or sell and there’s nothing we can do about it. I’m not a fan of Moulding at all but he’s not an idiot and still has a lot to lose himself here if the sp does not perform. It’s irrelevant what he has made up until this point because he’s not the type of person who would feel like he’s achieved simply by IPO’ing and getting a bonus, or whatever….

Anyway, I sympathise with those underwater but there are plenty including myself in same position who are long term holders. Add more if you have conviction or sell if you don’t.

*I got the impression that they plan to get the share price back to where it belongs which is many multiples of where we are now.*

I would be amazed if this wasn't the general aim of any BOD where the share price is way below the IPO price.

What specifically did they say that suggested a sense of urgency, hitherto seemingly absent...?

Absolutely 1pencil… I used to own them some time ago and I remember there being bid rumours back then. Definitely one to keep an eye on. The likes of Kering or LVMH could swallow it up no problem. Good luck to you mate
