Thanks Crackin, but I don't need a maths lesson. The fact is that it rose from 3.75 to 22.5 (which I am pleased to see you now acknowledge). It was disingenuous of you to ignore the 125x consolidation in your earlier post and imply it was a rise in share value from 0.03 to 22.5.

As it happens, I am invested in VAL too and don't see any benefit in the constant VAL vs SCLP comparisons/snipes/wind-ups on this board (or theirs). If you are invested in SCLP, then I am happy to read your posts here about SCLP. If you want to talk about VAL, then post there. Either way, best of luck with your investments, wherever they are - and keep to the facts! ATB.

Delighted to see that Covidity is now listed on the latest WHO Draft Landscape of candidate vaccines, published this morning - and is top of the list of candidates in preclinical evaluation. Yay!

This is not the first time. I noticed that Scancell were omitted when WHO published their last draft landscape on 5th May and I emailed CH about it at the time. This was his reply to me on 7th May:

Thanks you for your messages. We’ll contact WHO to ensure that our program is included. We are included in a number of other tracking databases but somehow this one seems to have omitted our program so we need to rectify that.

I will email him again to see if they have contacted WHO as promised and if so, why WHO have not rectified it.

Why is so much public money being staked on the antibody vaccines developed at Oxford and Imperial (which may not work) but there is no funding at all to support T cell solutions such as that being developed by the University of Nottingham? The T cell approach has built-in back-up against a virus mutation, could work better in older patients and trigger longer-lasting immunity, but it is being completely overlooked by the government.

Having lost my mother-in-law, also a Woking resident and loyal Jonathan Lord voter, to Covid-19 in March, I am as keen as anyone that an effective vaccine is found as soon as possible.

However, I am deeply concerned that so much public money (£100m so far) is being staked only on candidate vaccines being developed at Oxford and Imperial, which may not work. Sky News broke this story last night and I think questions should be asked as to why HM Government is betting such huge amounts on vaccines that may not work while there is no funding whatsoever to support 2nd generation (T-Cell) solutions such as those being developed by the University of Nottingham, which are particularly suited to the elderly population, where they are needed most.
