Less of the snide response please......been disconnected for a while and been here for many many years and just asking a valid question. Believe me I want nothing more than this to come good but have been shafted way too many times already with jam tomorrow and a curve ball at the last minute. I sincerely hope this comes good
Just hoping someone can allay my anxiety at this recent article regards opposition to drilling......surely there's no way these upstarts can upset things at this late stage??

You are indeed correct and sincere apologies / thanks for picking me up on that - didn't in any way mean to mislead and I believe my statistic was in fact the US rate per day which is shocking nonetheless. Sadly one in every 5 days here in the UK approximately which is still horrific. My point was merely to put the overall current news in perspective with more horrendous statistics that go sadly largely unreported in our mainstream media
Have been 'invested' here for many years but never really post as happy to read and digest some of the more respected contributions from experienced posters. Bloody typical that we are now on the verge of drilling after many years and obstacles and then bang.....bloody Corona virus pops up - personally I couldn't give a monkeys......over 3 m poor children die per year of hunger, half a million from flu, around 25 veterans per DAY from suicide in the UK ......and here we are having overcome Macondo, Bahamian bearecracy etc etc only to have another thrown at us......... perseverance has definitely earned its name that's for sure..
I would personally really like to know if / why this is being 'talked up' or is it in fact worse than they're letting on? And given the market meltdown / sell offs is it inconceivable that any interested farm in partners might walk away, not because of BPC but to preserve their balance sheet in what is becoming I'm my humble opinion, market madness! There will be some milking this no doubt and making lots of cash - just not us!!
I sincerely hope any prospective partners have the balls and wherewithal to commit and ride this out and good luck to all holders old and new - I recently sold off some woeful underperformers including ATYM formerly EMED, and am heavily overcommitted to this share and have everything crossed!!!
Rant over !
Excuse my ignorance please - been around here way too long since EMED days and Harry and am wondering what happens if / when a company tries to delist - I’m assuming they would have to buy us / shareholders out at a premium similar to any other company takeover???
No doubt if there is a shred of truth in vans Post and it
Does happen us PIs will be guaranteed to get shafted ....who says true value will always out??!!
For what it’s worth I really had hoped to see this through but I’m beginning to wonder if anything would show us decent value - I think if copper rocketed to £4 there’d still be some excuse for us being held back no doubt!!!
Good luck all
Long term holder although not really qualified to comment but enjoy reading posts - believe like last poster that this is a v.good sign from major and that once environmental permit is received this will be quickly rubber stamped / announced simultaneously etc. I’ve watched my purchase price dwindle to a penny and now fully believe I’ll see a huge return in the next year or so...... Just a thought - does he major not have to rns this and previous news to heir own shareholders?? Surely entering into such agreements which ultimately have he potential to offer huge returns to their own shareholders merit a material rns to the market for them??
Does anyone know if we are still to receive the 8m grant - I don't recall seeing this in any release for a long time and it seems to have been forgotten about. Don't recall the precise details but surely any stipulations must have been met by now! Every little helps as they say!!
WTF - have been here since 2011 but very rarely post as to be honest don't really have the knowledge but just wondered how long can it really take for the courts to decide on (let's be honest in the grand scheme of things), a relatively low level case when you consider decisions / judgments etc are reached far quicker for more complex cases. Thoughts welcome Thanks in advance
Apologies in advance for ignorance but when do the 'new' shares begin trading - are we effectively suspended at the moment ??? Thanks in advance for any comments
