I sold on the 19 Nov and HAVE received the divi.

so yesterday I bought again and an excellent RNS has now come out. I usually buy the day before a cash raise. But well done Doc H for re-kindling my interest. I'm sure we'll hit 18 p again soon!

BRH Braveheart Investment Group AIM SP. 55p Div 42.75p and as a % is 77.73. XDD is 10-Dec-20, so buy on Wednesday to get the WHOPPING divi and pay day is 06-Jan-21, which is the anniversary of me going to RMAS!

Remember with RMS that it was a drip feed of sales until a cumulative point was reached. Then a TR 1 was issued.

a. so the sp is circa 55. Remove the divi of 42.5 which equals 12.5.
b. The last trade before the announcement was C35.5. Remove the divi from that (as the divi is cash in the bank) suggests that the sp should have been valued at-7p!
c. Guys, you are using too simplistic mathematics to get to your ex-div sp.
d. Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Guys...to verify the XD date I have just recieved a divi for BME. I sold on open on the XD date...and made a profit as the sp languished after the divi announcement but climbed 3 days before XDD.

I'll participate in a cultural shift of a percentage of my liquid assets in favour of some more RMM financial instruments.

Or , I've just bought more shares...

Shareholders who own shares in the company before the market opens on the ex-dividend date will receive a dividend payment. Thanks for getting back Toff. BMEs sp rose on the day before the XDD, to then fall from that height by roughly the dividend amount, as you have suggested. It ws interesting to see the sp behaviour prior to that as it was alles uber dem platz, but literally rose in the afternoon of the day before XD.

But it is most interesting to read what you say and I'll add that to my knowledge base. Thanks again.
