Antibody or Antigen? and 99 secs to do or get results?

Seems the government are very willing to place advance orders on pletny of stuff thats not in manafacture yet and is a lot more expensive that what we are bringing to Market
Still cant belive - they havent advanced ordered antibody kits that are substantially better and cheaper than the cap from Roche
And also expect some news or progress news on CD4 or Food Intolerance - - SP wil soon be below 40p again if someone doesnt pull the finger out - get marketing

Its also an ANTIBODY test not a "have i had it at some point in the past test. A positive result shows you have antibodies end of?
Plus - again this is far more accurate than any other test and substantially cheaper that roche - Fora change government - look after your own country.
And just to reiterate - this is just one thing ODX do. Dont forget the CD4 and infact the one i keep forgetting food allergy - China ... Lots of news coming

Think we have known for some time that there is no certainty over length of protection - but the tests being used are already known to be inaccurate and expensive - dont forget ours will just be a couple of quid not 60.
So perfect fore a check see how the disease is spreading and importantly if a vaccine has created antibodies.
It seems we are going over old ground again and again and answering the same questions

Cant help but notice the total fixation on RTC antibody. And whilst its potentially big - there's plenty more.

CD4 for another
And dont forget the Rapid Test Antigen being developed for later this year with Mologic
Dont be too impatient - there is lots of growth potential here and it will all start in the coming weeks

With a population as big as theirs and the massive need for tests i'd think they would select a number of suppliers as there is no way anyone could deliver the capacity required - so expecting some news here Monday to Wednesday next week

We would all rather it be up. But it will - too many people want to see a quick profit and only see the RTC - there are other streams and dont forget CD4
The last announcement to investors clearly set out the timelines and nothing changed - only short term investors not doing their due diligence and thinking RTC orders would be in by now

Id also add that too many people just see this as UK RTC Antibody test - its not there are a number of other potential income streams that depending on requirements they can adjust capacity to meet. That said i'm quietly confident in the RTC antibody product and the need. But DYOR

MB - you make a very good point and one i cant disagree with. That said IF countries could be trusted then this seems the best way to do it at departure - also logistics would be better as you always end up hanging around for an hour at least pre departure.
Maybe a digital app built on a decentralized blockchain that results were uploaded to - could be the digital passport that you've been tested at departure?

I still dont understand why they are still pushing for testing at destination. This should be pre departure - 1. Easier if you are told you cant travel at home than when you get to the destination you cant enter. 2. If you were positive you could then infect a plane full of people who go on to transmit to the destination country.
I can only assume they are thinking of current slow lab Tests
Imagine before you go to departure lounge - you get 2 tests 1. See if you've got it and 2 see if you've had it. OK some will slip though but the vast majority will be caught.
And we will soon be doing both 20 min Antibody and a 20 mins Antigen
BUT still don't understand why this isn't being proposed as a plan for all countries

Surely its better to be turned away and the end where your home is - than to travel all the way to your destination to be turned away there - and at the risk of infecting everyone on the plain / ship / train

Surely tests should all be at Departure - far easier logistically. If positive for antibodies then you fly - if your negative antigens you fly - but if positive on antigen you dont get on a plane and spread the virus. Its sounds pretty logical to me. Testing on arrival makes absolutely NO sense - as youve infected everyone on the plane
