We won't know for certain how many shares will be in issue until after 4th November but my guesstimate;

200m shares is roughly £5 a share for each Billion mcap

There's a huge difference between now and pre-hospital results as the hospital results weren't expected to be as strong as earlier treatment (at home). Current market value is c.270 million which is pretty fair value for a drug that could treat Covid in hospital and home. Not to mention COPD and many other applications.

Hi Andy, every little helps of course and I do all I can to let everyone and anyone know about the home trial.

I guess highlighting the injustice of other treatments getting a 'leg-up' is OK if it comes from the investor base (or elsewhere). We should remember though; the company's integrity in following the approval process and not seeking outside influence contributes to the strength of the data set and ultimately, when approval is gained, should leave fewer (if any) question marks like we're seeing with Remdesivir.

Political influence aside, the bottom line is that Remdesivir has little to no effect on disease progression. I suspect the question marks over it's use (and cost) will continue for a long time yet. Yesterday was a blood bath across the markets and there remains very little in place to fight this awful virus.

SNG continue to go about their business in the correct manner whilst the unmet demand for treatments like SNG001 continues to rise. It's only a matter of time until their approach is vindicated.

Scinv, the timescale of a publication in a journal is not something that SNG can influence. That would kind of undermine the integrity of an independent peer review, no? To direct your frustration on that towards RM is misplaced.

The home trial is more difficult to deliver than this. SnG must be in a strong position to be included.

What you on about Doc? How can P2 possibly be labelled anything other than a success? What other clinical covid trials have delivered better results in such a short time frame? Utter Rubbish

That dosage is correct for SNG001. SG016 EU trial page has 6 MIU.

Obviously SG018 has an arm where they will administer 2 syringes. Be interesting to see how effective that is.

Completely get your frustration Doc. The potential of this drug to help over 60s and those at risk is huge! I guess all the company can do is keep doing it the right way and hopefully the authorities/government wake up sooner rather than later and promote/deliver SNG001 for those who need it most.

Doc I interpreted your comment as the trial would not start for months (Apologies if that was wrong). Yes I agree it'll be Q1 before recruitment is finished. However given the speed with which the P2 (2 weeks) started I would expect it to be up and running in November. Agree that there's nothing to suggest we'll get EUA but the statement from WHO last week on Recovery makes me think there will be unmet need when things get out of hand again during winter. I think we'll see EUA this side of xmas.

Thanks Joey, 'The emergency use of an unapproved investigational drug or biologic requires an IND'. That reads like the IND is not just a pre-requisite to the trial commencing, but also an EUA?

'Once the IND is submitted, the sponsor must wait 30 calendar days before initiating any clinical trials.'

Does anyone know if this will only apply to the US arm of the trial? Is there a possibility that the trial will begin elsewhere in the meantime?

Hi Matt, when I said cost of accepting financial support from government; that cost may have meant joining a larger government backed trial (with less control). It may have meant a commitment from SNG on supplying the UK first, or at a low price. So government involvement may have resulted in giving away too much control over this drug that SNG have spent 15 years on.

Careful what you wish for guys. The reason SNG001 was not included in any large trials (Solidarity et al) was because SNG felt they could deliver the trial quicker without such inclusion. It also meant they were able to maintain full quality control over the trial which resulted in a high quality dataset. Look what happened to Faron last week who are now trying repair an image that was damaged by factors out of their control.

Similarly with government; Though I find it appalling that government have done nothing to promote the home trial, there would always be a cost to accepting financial support.
