Despite what he says, the NIHR do not yet have the trial registration details on their website yet. Neither is it on clinicaltrial.gov or the EU register. The latest company RNS says it'll be in 20 countries and they wouldn't have signed an agreement with parexel to deliver a UK only trial

Completely agree Millie and i firmly believe that we are gonna see an update this week. I just find it strange there is still no mention of SG018 on any of the trial registration websites.

Having said that, NIHR are still showing SG016 is still in progress so maybe they've continued to recruit on that?

I wonder are Synairgen working with NIHR on the UK arm of the trial and allowing Parexel to run with the international trials.

Thanks Bella, great news indeed if patients have already been dosed. His response is a little contradictory to the RNS;

Synairgen has appointed Parexel Biotech, a division of leading global clinical research organisation (CRO) Parexel, to conduct the SG018 Phase III trial. It expects to enrol patients across approximately 20 countries, with the time to completion subject to country trial approval timelines, enrolment at trial sites and the prevalence of hospitalised COVID-19 patients.

I figure what goes on in other countries is not really his concern though?

It is a lot of £B's Big and I have to admit that this last week or so has tested my resolve but there's no getting away from the numbers. Conservatively, 100k treatments at £1000 a treatment is 1.2 Billion annual revenue.

Doc, I fully trust that the 100k a month treatments that the company are rampng up for has considered the impact of vaccines. Would/will a less efficacious vaccine increase the market for SNG001? Quite possibly, however we're talking about reducing the difference in value of say, 5-10bn, to 2-5bn. I don't think many of us will complain with that.

Commencement of the P3 trial will almost certainly be RNS's therefore it is highly unlikely that it is underway. It's only been 4 weeks since they announced they'd be running an international P3. If they get the trial up and running this week then that is very very fast.

Trueway, regardless of the short term impact that vaccime news has on the SP (todays news had a much less impact than last week), RM will know the value of the drug. He will have a price that will not be dependent on vaccines, but on the development of SNG001. The more development milestones achieved by SNG before a licencee signs on, the more expensive it'll be to licence. In light of this, short term SP movements are irrelevant.

I dont think industry in India has the time to start copying the product, regardless of IP protection.

Morning all, this India rumour is really interesting. They led the way with approvals for some antibody tests earlier in the year. Although the MAP agreement only covers the UK and EU (thanks Max) Clinigen do export to India from Singapore. There would a huge commercial opportunity there as well as an opportunity for Clinigen to add to the dataset.

Formygirls, that exact scenario has already happened and was justification for the home trial approval. They were discharging patients and letting them finish the treatment at home.

You're missing the point Trueway, SNG are in the process of developing a treatment that will likely be approved and licenced in H1 next year and its value in this current climate is immeasurable. With only 200 million shares in issue, each Billion that it gets licenced for is worth about £5 a share. Given all of the science there is a high chance of success which renders current share price movements irrelevant.

RTB, There may have been naysayers but SNG have always maintained that 'data is king' and emphasised the importance of a well run trial to to give them the best dataset. If anyone doubted the integrity of their July claims then they clearly misinterpreted the people making them. The claims have now been fully validated.

Maybe then he can have his name in 1st place on a peer review.
