Can't beat a Bank Holiday Monday Pointless Poll
So what happens tomorrow if there IS an RNS? What will this poll tell us? Will it confirm the pointlessness of the poll? Or if there isn't an RNS, will it confirm the pointlessness of a poll? 😂
Heid says there is no RNS, presumably as with all of David's decisions this year, he must have put this past her, she said no and she therefore knows there won't be one. Come on David, grow a pair and defy her tomorrow 😂
Just seen on Twitter that there is a typo in the share-talk tweet below, it isn't 'was to be' it is IS 😂
NO, it was p u s s y. Strange that couldn't ne used when it is an alternative word for cat. 😂
What would be nice if people took a break from incessant negative comments and allowed the company the chance to develop their diversification into the US. Every shareholder is aware of the fast and the present, they don't need it rammed down their throats hour after hour, day after day. The UK is totally trashed in terms of onshore oil, David has made an excellent decision to escape what is looming. The SP isn't going to recover overnight, but it will as the company prove up the US assets. Personally I am sick of hearing about board salaries, dividend demands and buy backs. It will be what it is and people will accept it as it is.
on my investment, i have no need to have a twitter account dedicated to abusing and harassing the board of union jack. i have no need to create lot's of ridiculous polls that only about 30 people bother looking at. i haven't got such a huge ego that i believe the board actually act on my demands or ideas, to the point of actually publishing they actually do on a public forum. i don't have the technical ability to alter images of the management to abuse and offend by putting them on my twitter account. i am however, a holder of shares. that's a 'shareholder' to those who do not hold any. i have respect for the management and what they are doing right now to circumvent what is looking more and more like the total destruction of onshore and offshore oil exploration and production. i do not see any point is spending every day like a sad ***** decrying the fact the share price is not as high as it was a year ago. i doubt many oil companies operating in the uk are. all in all, i am not exhibiting any signs of insanity, enjoy my weekends mostly with my son, not sitting on my laptop watching and waiting for a post on here to reply to. some people should try this.
There are some people that want a big dividend announced, I am also sure it will be a minority, judging by the comments I have seen along with the responses to a call for one. As I have stated previously, I am invested here to see the company achieve mid-tier status and be in a financial position to maintain a regular, long term, decent sized dividend. This will only be achieved with building on the assets and increasing revenues. To pay a .08-1p dividend now is an additional well and more in Oklahoma. The company has chosen to diversify at a time that really couldn't be better what with all the problems amassing in the UK and I prefer to support their venture to the full. Drill, drill, drill. 6 wells, multi-millions of dollars. This would place the company in a unique position where revenues would be standard. With each successful drill would come new investors, a higher share price and longer term holders. I really have no interest whatsoever in losing a well just to appease what seems like one or two people. What other little oiler has even paid a dividend that people were surprised and pleased to receive? One? None?
Next week it is as good as certain the company will release the Andrews1 well results. I seriously do not believe for one minute they would be presenting at the Sidoti event unless this well had come in commercially. This means an RNS is pretty much guaranteed next Mon/Tues, allowing the communication to be uplifting and positive for the future of Union Jacks entry into the US. All I want to see is a back to back drilling operation then, it would make sense to do everything possible to increase revenues outside of the UK. So, David, a small dividend please and an extra well 💪
I totally agree with your sentiment Karina, it's not nice seeing someone constantly trashing your investment, even more so when they are not even invested. All those silly polls and constant attacks on the board, the assets etc are annoying and this is why I try to defend my investment too. The likes on our posts show quite clearly many others feel the same way. Heid has made her point, everyone knows it.
The Tories have been given a massive hammering in the elections by labour which all points to a pretty likely outcome in the main elections. Labour will, imo, be the next governing party which all points to more pressure on companies like UJO. Energy Profit Levi will rise by a further 3% and the cessation of any further onshore licensing, exploration or production. Thank goodness David has pre-empted this with the move into the US.
Milnrow, Those treasury shares could be of immense value to the company further down the road. This deal with Reach looks to be very strong and there may be an opportunity to join forces maybe? If that happened, the shares could be used this saving raising any money. I would prefer they were kept for now. Regards Karina's comments, they were in fairness a little over the top in terms of the 'C' word, I do hate that being used, but my post about Heid too received over a dozen likes. She does flip flop almost on a daily basis, her silly polls , her belief she has some sort of power over David, her constant attacks on the board, she is a bit ridiculous. However, everyone has a fundamental right to speak as they feel so sadly, sniping at each other will carry on regardless.
And never a Friday RNS. So I am expecting an announcement next week to confirm the commerciality of the Andrews1 well. This will fit in with the Sidoti event so it is, in my mind, already waiting to be confirmed. Last chance tomorrow to buy in maybe 😀
Good point Karina. An independent advisor surely cannot hold shares or he would be biased and anything he did for the company would not be recognised. That would apply to anything he contributed to like the audit possibly I assume? Craig Howie could of course take some as an executive director.
You may have noticed my lack of response to your comments on every post I make. You did request that we no longer comment on each other's musings but seem to have forgotten. I have absolutely no interest in discussing anything with someone who actually believes what she says has been acted on by the board of Union Jack or even so such as takes a second of their time to consider it. I disagree with your 'demand for a big dividend, I would rather that cash was spent on a second or even third well in Oklahoma this year. I disagree with your buy-back demands too. You flip flop between supporting this company to trashing it, from showing support for the board to abusing them. You're congratulating them when the SP goes up and berating them when it goes down as though the fact the oil market in the UK is being hammered incessantly by the government and activists. You are obviously trading it with your daily changes of sentiment and to be honest, you polls are as ridiculous as you. So please, please stop commenting on my views and I will continue to ignore yours, there's a dear x
Jabez, but surely thats the point, they ARE doing really good stuff and that fact is not being reflected in the SP. All bery well screaming for dividends and buy backs but they only temporarily help. Shareholders need action, which they are getting, this will, I am sure, soo be realised with the value. No other peer company is doing anything near what Union Jack are. Look at UKOG, RBD, EOG, they are all stagnant with little interest to the market. I feel really confident in the future here and not the distant future either.
If the Andrews1 well is successful and they drill a few more, this could be well above 50p. Not many companies like Union Jack who are not just resting on their laurels as the UK oil industry is destroyed. I will not support the demand for a large divi right now, speculate to accumulate, drill more. Wells, build a strong revenue stream by where a penny dividencd can be maintained. Not interested in giving away the price of a well right now.
Sorry Jokin, called you Gwyn, I was responding to your post lol x
You;re right Gwyn, they could be worth three or four times their value over the next 12 months. If they were cancelled now it would be a bit of news, a small spike in the SP which would be quickly forgotten. To know they could be worth a considerable sum more further down rue line makes far more sense.
Next week as there's no way Zac Philips will be doing a presentation to US investors without the Andrews Well being successful. What's the bet it's flowing and this will be the subject of discussion along with the mineral royalties. More and more confident in David and the venture into the United States. It appears they are really going for it now 💪
Yes, thank you Heid, what would we do without you having so much influence over the board of a listed company like Union Jack. I'm so impressed ❤️
Union Jack presenting and doing a 1-1 with investors this month. Can't see them presenting on the back of a duster lol
