George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Confirms they have hit the sweet spot. Anything else would not look to be a MAJOR success. I really look forward now to the next RNS declaring initial flow rates. Don't forget, there will also be gas too. πͺπβ€οΈ
Pboo, you could pick holes in a sieve π
Mr. Plumper, just for you dear x "David Bramhill, Executive Chairman of Union Jack, commented: "Our first well in the United States looks to be a major success subject to testing, and an excellent start for the Company in its recent drilling partnership with Operator, Reach Oil & Gas Inc ("Reach").
Obviously hit oil, possibly unexpectedly, at the shorter depth. Maybe this is something special? More oil than expected pre-target? The operation was much quicker than anticipated, less cost and hopefully more oil x
In whos dreams Pboo? I remember what you said to me Pboo. Anything wrong with this RNS? X
Well done calling that Grey Panther. First well in the US a success https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/UJO/andrews-1-17-drilling-update/16411106 β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
I agree Nightingale to a degree. Drilling for oil onshore or offshore with this awful tax liability is to restrictive. May as well mothball Biscathorpe and North Kelsey. Hopefully we will see David's renaissance of West Newton which is reliant on the JV partners getting their houses in order and Mark at Egdon/Heyco getting to grips with the Peni*Stone Flags. Meanwhile there's no doubt the move into the US is the way forward for Union Jack, diversification to a country that loves oil, throves on oil snd will change the future for the company quickly and economically within their financial capability. If this well in Oklahoma comes in, it will be a groundbreaking start to US actrivities, Fingers crossed for everyone. X
It would be a super start to the week Grey Panther if we had an RNS tomorrow but could the well have been drilled and completed in such a quick time? I estimated a best case scenario for end of last week but maybe they could be ahead of schedule but that far ahead? Will they confirm flow rates or just confirm oil shows? Whatever, any good news here will be very welcome and continue the march forward of the share price. I think we could easily be at 22p tomorrow based on the last trade and if that came in from the US, well, new and exciting interest from somewhere new will I am sure make all the difference to what could be a stunning recovery in 2024 x
Seeping in, a renewed interest perhaps and an attraction of some new interested parties? There will be lots to discuss I think π
Techtonic, I can assure you I am not the same side of any coin with anyone. I don't change with the wind, I have and always will be positive on any investment I make, as I have with Union Jack. I do like a bit of fun however, and to be honest I feel it is better than just posting negatively, as some do, for the sake of it. X
You will be liked a lot more being positive Heid and I am pleased you recognise the value of the diversification into the United States. Every barrel of oil must be worth 4 times more to the company over there than over here with the energy profits tax not applicable (sorry if my maths is out I am just guessing at the 4 times lol). If the first well comes in I think it will signal a whole new outlook on Union Jack and it's management. It will be great to see David get some positive comments instead of all the almost hatred I have seen on this bb so far in 2024. X
Is in my opinion entering a new phase in its development now and the listing on the OTC is going to cause a big squeeze. There will be a lot of people who have been here a long time that will be selling I think, patience lost, but these sells could well be sapped up by the US buyers preventing the usual fall back. The last buy of almost 150k could well be from across the sea, Monday is going to be an interesting day I am sure based on what was paid for it, I can't wait π₯³
Sadly Suepud, there are a few people that thrive on driving sentiment down on this bb. Pboo seems to find a negative angle ro every piece of news, looking for a word out of place, somewhere he can twist anything to appear something is wrong. This is a shame because it is obviously a personal issue not anything to actually do with the company. There seem to be a few others that join in but things ARE changing and if this well comes in, we will see more interest than for a long while. X
Well done Nightingale, nice to see someone saying they are up on their investment, that is what most of us are here for x
I do think UJO are going to be a recovery play now and a few people on here are going to try to disrupt that feeling but if the SP opens up which looking at that last trade I think it will, itnwill be an exciting day x
A big thumbs up to Pboo who needs to get his Casio to the repair shop lol
Heid, πππ
Things are turning so I guess this weekend will be spent looking for anything to spoil sentiment, but i am here to battle for positivity and as long as Heid is feeling it, that's super for me x
Hi Thomas, have a great weekend with the missus and little Tom xx
That it could be possible a lot of the trades today could have come from the US? Fantastic if so and a justification for the listing. I believe the markets can continue to trade UJO after the UK close, not sure how that works π³. Everything now beginning to look very exciting for shareholders and we should start to see certain people with their desperate attempts to kill off sentiment slowly disappear. Bye Pboo π
To the day. No doubt we will get 'leaky' comments next from those who enjoy seeing people down on their investments. The day trades have been pretty regular, some small, some decent but all in all, in my view, just a renewed interest in a company with news due any day on their first well. X
No, he won't be returning to work. No more questions please x
I clock off when my lad is home, family comes first with me. X
