Piggy- the only transformation that I have unfortunately experienced so far is the huge reduction to the amount of money that my shares are worth. Many times in the past have we been waiting for the anticipated transformational news only to recieve the opposite. I do hope that you are right this time but I don't hold out much hope based on the past.

Oilydr- Sorry but I have no idea what you are going on about. It's just one of the usual pump and dumps surely?

Surely this rise on no news must be a pump and dump? I am hoping for good news and a rise following it.

Tomglan- does your example re passive income rely on you not taking any money out for spending? What about the large reduction in the value of your holding when the next inevitable crash happens? I bought 5k L&G shares after they fell significantly after Trump announced that he was about to issue tarrifs in April. I sold them recently for an approx 20% increase and I immediately spent that £1k enjoying myself. I recieved a dividend during the time that I was holding the shares that made absolutely no difference at all with regards to the profit that I made.

Re- 4% if money was in a bank. Yeah but your money has no chance of reducing unlike in shares.

Re investing in safe companies that pay decent dividends- when dividends are paid out your share holding value reduces by the same amount as the divi received and so no gain. What is the point in that?

I have to say that I agree totally with sushi. It was good news when Energian farmed in, it was very bad news when they didn't find enough gas and pulled out.

As I understand it an open block referes to a block that is open for bids.

I am at a loss here and hopefully someone could explain to me. Why are people buying when the company has said that it will be delisting and going private? I thought that in that scenario that any shares held would become worthless. I sold my shares on the announcement for 0.053p which got me back a very small amount of what I purchased them for but I thought it was better than loosing the lot. Now people are buying for almost double what I sold mine for. Why on earth would people do that? Do they know something that I don't?

The following is an extract from 3/5/23 update. As part of the ongoing FEED study, the Company cleared pads for geotech drilling at the proposed plant Site and tailing dam location. 10 pads were cleared at the tailing storage facility area and 6 pads were cleared at the plant site area as a part of geotechnical studies and the Company is now preparing for Diamond Drilling in the proposed areas.

Absence of news means that nothing material has taken place. If it had it would have to be detailed in an RNS. So are you implying that nothing material has taken place on purpose?

Why would AK (part of GAT) sell to ACP in the 1st place if the site was so promising? So that MB and others could make a lot of money through ACP warrants perhaps? Just wondering.
