Certainly these two events events below from one of the trading updates will be the driver back up to where we should be, and I think we can assume Skrill completion before November based on this? The difference is if a long says ODEY in, then it's probably because ODEY ARE IN. The 3.23% was all taken up, see RNS from 05/05. There are now 0 companies with short position over 0.5%. they're all backing out due to upside risk.

yep, as Fred says. I look on shorttracker.co.uk, the actual company page reports 0% but if you look at the companies A-Z it's 0.67%, Complete assumption that this 0.67% is correct. Either way all the large short positions are now closed.

And back to 0.67% now.

I still think something is broken on these numbers. Our entire market cap was traded in 4 orders yesterday? Don't think this is actually possible based on the shareholder split. Say we hold off making judgement on these until it is clarified. There would be some RNS out about % breached if these numbers were accurate.

Seems to have thrown a wobbler here? unless I'm mistake. 100,000 * £2.77 = £277,000? Same numbers showing up everywhere, inclined to think number of shares would be more accurate than value, £270k buys are still pretty impressive though.

Think it was Wolfhound that last week said a few people would be selling over the last week or two for profit taking and tail swallowing to take up the rights issue. The deadline for HL instructions is tomorrow and some brokers were earlier so sure it's from here we start to see the rise we'd expect from the reverse takeover. I have no idea if it does but would really like it if the directors taking up their rights shows up as director deal.

Should be a really succesful partnership once it gets going. ewallet optimizer have some good comparison articles as well.

What are you on about?? Heading for £1?? You cannot analyse the drop today via charts as the drop was down to share dilution which the long holders who take up the rights issue actually benefit from. More shares in circulation but with Skrill coming on board we now have double the company and are heading for main markets. As of today it's a completely different beast to yesterday.

I have nil paid rights showing up on my HL account and overall value of stocks as up slightly backing up your calculations. up a couple % on yesterday

Where did "I see Mr Leonoff is planning to sell £2m shares to pay for his new rights, so I see this as following this logic." come from? The RNS reads "Each of the Directors who holds Ordinary Shares either intends, to the extent that he is able, to take up in full his rights to subscribe for New Ordinary Shares under the Rights Issue or to sell a sufficient number of his Nil Paid Rights during the Nil Paid Rights trading period to meet the costs of taking up the balance of his entitlements to New Ordinary Shares." So he might sell a few of the rights to finance the purchase of the remainder, but no actual shares will be sold. Trying to outpace the market and sell/buy back will be very risky, if you're looking to sell out/make quick profit I'd really seriously consider selling on 16th. As I've said before, the rights issue take up by the directors will trigger alerts and news which will attract more buyers to OPAY.

hey iggly, have a look at the hl link i posted earlier. sorry you completely lost me on the trading dates etc. my plan for this is simply excersice the rights and continue to hold, there is an option in there, or atleast was for the barclays example shown, within hl, to sell whater rights it takes to exersice the rest, possibly a simpler option than buy/sell on specific dates. just what i would do if i couldnt/didnt want to put any more cash in here.

FYI just on the issue of buying the rights, don't know if anyone else is as stupid as me and has a large holding outside of their ISA that they regret not buying within the ISA.. Something to be careful of if looking to buy more in the coming weeks prior to the issue. If you have shares within the ISA, you can exercise the rights outside of the ISA in standard S&S account (handy if you've maxxed the deposits for the year, thankfully this is happening in April). If you have shares in a SIPP, you can only buy the rights within your SIPP. Any shares in standard S&S account CANNOT be bought within ISA. These are HL's rules anyway but they look to be restricted in what they let you do by HMRC. http://www.hl.co.uk/shares/corporate-actions/barclays-rights-issue-faqs unless the rules have changed of course. Was really hoping I could buy the rights within my ISA but no such luck. So long term buy and hold, eventually I'll only be slowly siphoning off the profits as I'm an idiot :(

Why do you think it would drop to £3? Just because you bought cheap doesn't mean you have to sell at that price, I think majority of those taking part in the issue will be expecting atleast this sort of price before sell. I see no reason for this to drop, the directors have all committed to fully fill the rights they are entitled to, that is one massive day where each director more than doubling the number of shares own (happy to be proved wrong on this but that's how I read the RNS?). Assuming we finally break free of AIM, we gain ftse all share trackers buying in, assuming we make ftse 250, we get ftse 250 trackers buying in, plus additional credibility from not being on AIM. Plus everyone hopping on-board on the back of Numis raising targets and all of the above buying in every sign is pointing up here. There are always going to be the risks of US revoking internet gambling etc but no investment is risk free.

Yeah sounds right. Sorry for the flat out rejection, just the wording in your response, "financial implication", "have to find", "have to sell 40%". I can see now it's sensible advice to sp if that is his intention to take part in the issue, to be aware its not free shares and they will need bought. Can't think of any reason for not taking part though if you can.

What?? No, you don't HAVE to cough up the extra money to keep your shares. Google "hl barclays rights issue" and see their what investors can do screen as an example. you can even sell the share rights as they are without buying. it's an option to purchase more at discount.
