RBD low risk high reward12 Jan 2019 12:28
It is worth remembering that Reabold has so far made three investments;
Corallian Energy
Rathlin
Danube Petroleum.
They also have by way of acquisition acquired Gaelic Resources Ltd.
What some people have been trying to explain is the difference in chance of success and therefore the value that investors have placed on each of the coming opportunities. Reabold has invested in companies rather than farmed into drills, therefore they acquired a percentage of the assets each company has.
Investors have looked at the investments and thought that some prospects could return huge amounts whereas some are hit and miss but as we have a percentage of all the assets lets find out. Others have previously listed the ones that we favor but it would be difficult to place an individual value on each drill.
For example you could say we invested in Rathlin because of the fast approaching Gas appraisal target with an estimated 72% chance of success and gross NPV (10) of $247M
but we also got a 'thrown in' shot at Cadeby oil exploration target which has an estimated 24% chance of success and gross NPV (10) of $850m
Reabold has a 32.9% interest in Corallian Energy which they obtained via an investment of 2,5 million, Corallian has 7 licenses.
Colter (located 2 kilometres south of the Wytch Farm oilfield)
Wick Prospect (up-dip of the spill point of the Lybster oilfield in the Inner Moray Firth Basin.)
Curlew-A (discovered by well 29/7-1 (Shell, 1979).
Oulton (recovered oil on test from the Jurassic Emerald Sandstone.)
No Name (P2398 is located on the flank of the Jade, Jawdaw and Blane fields. Coraliian hold a 100% interest)
Purbeck Prospect (Two onshore licenses PEDL330 and PEDL345 )
So I guess you could divide the amount of our investment by the seven licenses or you could say we are hoping to make a gain of more than our investment from a combination of them or the sale or IPO of Corallian
There is lots of side by side drills happening, including the work overs which are hopefully producing cash flow and wick, colter, monroe swell, Grisley island and parta drills amongst others starting this year.
I think RBD stands a good chance of increasing in value over the coming months.
