MPL is undervalued.29 Jul 2020 10:14
They already stated that they have enough cash.. They have an untouched loan facility to the tune of 10.3 million, should they need it.
They have £7.6 million of cash (as of May 31st) and additionally agreed on access to £10.3 million via the 'undrawn' banking facilities. As well as approximately £11 million in advanced payments to its main contractors. They also have the port etc..
Compare this to the current tiny market cap of just under £5 million and it looks undervalued to me. So the speculation re-raise seems off track but I won't rule it out, maybe the contracts are of a much larger than thought nature. Personally, I think it is probably just cost-reducing and the other broker will be removed soon or a sale of some sort.
