I thought In accordance with section 671B(1) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), DW has to make the RNS.

I regards to the cost cutting, they made an announcement on 19/4 stating:
"As announced in the most recent quarterly, prudent cost cutting measures have been put in place including cuts to Board and management salaries. These savings have resulted in greater than A$750,000 in annual cost reductions across the Company".

I read it slightly differently. I think they are talking about the remaining XCD shareholders and not the board and staff at XCD. From what I understand from comments posted on this board, both 88E and XCD know each other well so a good working relationship will be no problem.

According to Section 7 on page 6 of 88E Replacement Bidders Statement dated 21/5/20, states:
"If 88 Energy does not acquire a Relevant Interest in at least 90% of the XCD Energy Shares, it may choose to waive the 90% condition of its Share Offer. If 88 Energy acquires more than 50.1% but less than 90% of the XCD Energy Shares, 88 Energy will hold a controlling interest in XCD Energy. The remaining XCD Energy Shareholders will be in a minority position in a company with a large controlling shareholder whose objectives for the company may differ from their own".

Absolutely - but not until the next drill or end of the year if we are lucky. But would like to see what 88E plans are in a couple of months, including the results from HRZ.

What was your average at 88E?

17 trades, all blue, £20.63K bought and £0 sold yet down 5.17%. Good old AIM. Lol.

I see what you are saying about the change of the CEO but I think there are other things involved at AML other than just the change at the top. There is a strong talk of a bid for them. Also, just before Covid-19 the price was about £2.70 and it was about £6.00 at the beginning of the year. Don’t forget Covid-19 has hammered the SP. I’m a bit surprised the SP hasn’t gone higher considering who the new CEO is. AML has been a pig of a share since it went on the stock market a couple of years ago. Since AML was floated, in 2 or so years, they have performed worse than 88E, the SP has a 98% collapse since it floated on the stock market less than two years ago.

Looks like it, but right at the end the price shot up with no obvious big buys. I suspect some of the earlier sells were in fact buys. It happens a lot on the AIM.

Yes - but 88E is not listed on Nasdaq. Need to look at ASX and AIM.

Let us assume DW is correct in saying that PMO chose where to drill at Charlie-1. He will have (hopefully) more data confirming the original location was a better spot. Also, don't forget he was so positive that there was oil at Charlie-1 and he is planning to drill there again, which he has never done before (gone back and drilled in the same area). I think he will secure a FO partner for the 2021 drill. I don't think it will be a tier 1 partner though.

The thing that worries me is we seem to be just outside the area where most of the activity is.
