sold out at 65p. missed the rise to the 80s but what a great opportunity to get back in with my profits.
I felt somewhat empty and unfulfilled not seeing AFC in portfolio after holding for the best part of a decade.
Can't wait to watch the extreme - E racing knowing that I have a part of history in my ISA !
surely just profit taking there. it's holding firm today.
This has to be a target for one of the BIG players now with that much metal in the ground. Would not surprise me if a BHP, RIO, KAZ came along and put a cheeky bid in !! Albeit navigating Chinese takeover legislation may be a bridge to far for any company!!
Also 103% revenue growth is excellent in anyones books
The skeptics will still be there with this vaguely worded RNS. It's still all very mysterious at this stage whilst the RIO smelter results are long overdue and God knows what conditions needing to be met to get that much money from a U.S Gvnmt bank.
Basically we need to import or export to the U.S so that says the remaining offtake dmrequired needs to go to the U.S I would imagine !
Rio need to pull their finger out on the smelter
wow... £1 come and gone pretty quick. It's amazing the impact of psychological barriers in the stocks market.
next stop IPO price? (£1.35ish) - then rose to £2 before starting it's prolonged descent.
The company is miles ahead of where it was back then
Happy days. First time through £1 mark for over 4 years. Onwards and upwards let's see if that will stir up a buying frenzy
Metro have already issued us brokers with a whole suite of 90% ltv mortgages and they now specialise in the more niche lending arena with margins around 0.3-0.5% higher than most lenders. They won't be going back to the deeply discounted lower loan to value rates that were sold to natwest. In short- their mortgage lending is more profitable. With 3 billion off the balance e sheet and a tidy profit made, surely this now has the funds to stave off serious problems and further strong waters.
I do worry about unsecured lending in these times tbh so will be keeping an eye on defaults etc
Looks like we could break £1 soon.....
