I think the g.g.p shareholders sensed this was an extraordinary find quite early and newcrest were never getting it for under $1b.
But otherwise i totally agree with you. Newcrest stand to lose if g.g.p is in a confident position and stand to gain $billions by our low share price. I definitely think they can't be trusted. We shouldn't be surprised,there is a lot at stake here and they seem under pressure for spending,so will try to minimize that ,whilst going for the maximum gain.its not personal.
Meanwhile i am sure S.D is aware of this and is suitably armed and ready to defend our interests.

"A further 4 exploratory holes in the newly defined Ridge F and 6 in Ridge G were also drilled to complete this drill programme. 

Additional Rock Chip Sampling Programme

At the same time, the team took the opportunity to undertake a quick field reconnaissance programme on the untested Ridges F, G and H, which resulted in 60 rock chip samples being taken. These were submitted to ALS Perth* for industry standard sample preparation including crushing and pulverising with then a meltdown of an ensuing homogenous part of the sample into a bead for analysis for total iron (Fe2O3).

The results returned a significant new 800m long high grade anomaly on the part of Ridge H samples, 800m of about 5-6 km strike length, as well as a lower grade but still significant trend of similar strike length on Ridge G as well (see Figure 4 below). As the Company has stated, these initial results identify the presence of further high grade iron ore within the tenement and still leave numerous kilometers of ridges remaining to test and work up.

I'd have agree with you really. Ufo will be shovel ready in less than a year now in two areas and we are 100% in. My comparison is in the level of excitement and expectations

This has the feel that ggp did just over two years ago.
So much potential. But also so much expectation that will be exploited by the mm's and the traders.i agree its best to decide your strategy and then stick to it ,whilst re assessing as news comes in and trying not to let emotion .ake decisions

I would imagine a lot of volume in the next week or two, will the mm's need to actually have shares to sell or is that transaction completed at the end of the day

Hopefully their won't be a bottleneck waiting for results in Mexico, so with all the other projects fortnightly updates and results or comments from the company

They can only do this because the uptake on the cheaper shares are low. We need some of the big boys to start buying. As to why they arent in any large numbers tells me they believe newcrest will take 100% of haverion. With this ggp can move on to earnest Giles with the financial strength and experience to achieve more lucrative deals in the future

Imagine the news flow and results we will be getting as the various projects progress. If those results are as good as previous results we are in for a treat. This is getting to be very interesting and promising company

Only a sample grab, but very positive. I think by year end this area will be proved a lot bigger. Bill brodie says fortescue are next door and have already been peering over the fence asking questions. A joint venture would be nice as it would be almost immediate mining and a quick return.

I've been in this since the october 2020 spike, when i started buying in at 2p+. ive kept adding and am still here, but more enthusiastic than ever during this time. As happy haddock says predicting what the heard will do is impossible, but i believe I'm in with the best possible chance of an uptrend at sometime. I also believe that B.B.G
will announce a joint venture during the next six months

The figure i meant to put is $300m per 5%. If we sold the 30% at that in the ground figure ,we would have $1.8 billion.
My point is that the ggp share price would be ziltch and how much of the $1.8billion would the share holder see.
Concluding that we must keep the 25%

Buying the 30% now would be an in the ground price and $300,000 per 5% is a lot better than some figures I've seen here.

So if we think the 5% is worth $300,000. And newcrest want the 30%, that would be $1,800,000. Once tax was taken and future funds kept. How much a share would the shareholders get and where would the share price go.
I think it is essential we hang on to the 25%
