ETF approvals are not set in stone and halving may not affect Bitcoin share price as it historically has. The world has changed especially from a financial point of view. I’m not being negative just to be negative but I am being realistic as to what might affect the price of Bitcoin. My take on this is Bitcoin needs new money to come into it but where is this money coming from? To many investors got burnt from money men manipulating the price of Bitcoin for them to reinvest so it has to come from new investors. We will see but I’m not optimistic but hopeful it does happen.

Hmmm just wild predictions , but let’s try and hold above 40,000 dollars for now. I’ve heard those numbers predicted for the last 3 years and none of them came to fruition

BTW - I’ve been following QBT longer than many who post here, I’ve not invested as the board have not convinced me that this is investable giving investors a possible return on their investment.

Having said that, if QBT come up with a tangible product they can sell or license, share holders will make a killing.

My thoughts exactly….i believe a heck of a lot of Mara supporters moved their investment into other miners like CLSK hence a disappointing share price movement from MARA. However it’s early days is all I keep telling myself but did buy into CLSK many months ago as a hedge. I still hold all my Mara and hoping for better days.

In a couple of sentences , its only assets are wrinkly old mining machines. Its main asset was sold by its previous incompetent ceo Peter Wall which was Helios that we investors paid for.

Yea I hope so too . But I’m keeping an eye on it daily and will have no hesitation in selling at a loss if need be . it’s only a small investment I made to hedge my bets between 2 miners and if I make loss or gain it’s all put down to increase my experience with regards to making investments going forward.

Dagenham, your example is all jam tomorrow and based on everything going the way of Bitcoin increasing in value. I’m not bashing your post as it’s always good to have a debate from both negative and positive sides. The fact is miners SP are performing badly given the increase in value of bitcoin lately. I’m holding for now but there will come a point when I completely loose faith in them or I back them further. I’m undecided right now but Chaebol keeps whispering in my ear and I have to listen to his words of wisdom.

Would you invest in any other business model where you are aware that potentially in 6 months time their revenue could drop by half? Mara paid off a huge chunk of debt early, why did they do that? Are inexperienced investors selling up on miners and placing their money in QBT? after all it may be snake oil they are selling but many give in to the ridiculous ramping that’s going on on on their lse board. Maybe it’s just down to the court case satoshi bolacks but I doubt this.

I think it’s down to investors getting real about miners business models that potentially just don’t make sense . But having said all that I may be completely wrong but I’m still very nervous holding shares in any of them as I’ve been stung before in this sector with any company reliant of Bitcoin value at any given time. Alarm bells are ringing in my house….

I give you credit where credit is due so thank you for your balanced post. As I’ve said before I’m not a forced seller so will take my time in making any decisions to sell or even god forbid topping up. I have my timescale set at end of January 2024 to hold , top up or run for the hills .

Chaebol: your positive posts covering Mara make me nervous to sell my holdings given you’ve been so accurate with your predictions for such along time. Will sleep on my knee jerk reactions for at least the next 90 days.
