It would seem a little bizarre. Hum did not take part in the raise in December at 5p or the raise in March at 3.85p thus diluting their stake from about 28% to about 18 %. It would be odd to reduce their stake substantially and then take over at a much higher price.
HUM really need to improve their PR. Having been invested for over a year they seem reluctant to give us information and keep us informed on important matters. When the AGG deal fell through, it was AGG which announced termination of talks, and HUM comment was simply “ we note AGGs announcement “. Similarly with Bunker Hill, they only mentioned this deal as they were forced to, and there was no direct follow up to the security incident in Mali, tragic as it was. HUM need to do better in this respect. I’m still committed to the shares and believe our day in the sun will come, but HUM not only need to sell their gold, they also need to sell their story
Surprised that a large purchase this morning has not pushed up the price. Still below the initial price when Cora came to the market last year but with the low cap, when it moves, it has the ability to be big. I hold both Cora and HUM, and although Cora has more risk , it has the chance of being a multi bagger.
Excellent comments Fsj. Investors today are so fickle, always chasing the next rainbow, but in this case the pot of gold IS there, or should I say here.If we take a Warren Buffett approach, and Dan continues to deliver as he has over the last 18 month we should be steaming down the track in due course. We are still pulling out of the sidings before the passengers get on board. Chill out, and relax.
We must be due an imminent RNS saying we are at commercial production and have reached nameplate capacity.I recall Dan saying we should be there by the end of the first quarter of the year. Perhaps the knowledge that we have reached commercial production will spur the sp into action? Hopefully in a positive way as well. Ive got my fingers crossed and have asked the rest of my family, including the dog, to do the same.
SML isnt the only company on Aim to suffer share falls on positive news I have shares here and in HUM which has had exactly the same trend over the past 6 months. Fantastic news and sp falls. We need to be patient but its so frustrating
