Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Bushy Tailed. My understanding is that the shares are indeed given for 1p each under their share incentive scheme. This has been done in previous years. Huge profit if they sell at almost any price. It would be good if long term investors had something to celebrate. I’ve been here since they first poured gold.
Bitcoiner. The sheep may well be there, but they’re all barren, so there won’t be any lambs. The longer you keep feeding the sheep the more they cost you, and eventually become mutton.I’ve been here for over 3 years with little prospect of getting back into profit any time soon. We need action from the BOD not wishful thinking.
Looking good, but remember this is AIM and the journey can be a huge rollercoaster. I bought in at launch in October 2017 when the shares price was higher than it is today. Over the following 2 years the shares fell to 3p and I was sitting on a large loss. I have subsequently topped up and am now nicely in profit but it’s been an uncomfortable journey so far. It’s easy to get swept up in the euphoria, but it’s great having Burt at the helm, and looking forward to positive RNS’s to come.
Agree with you anon3. I’ve been here pre first gold pour in 2017, so plenty of time for positive movement in the shares price but no news seems to raise the sp and set a new base to move the sp up. Yes the share price should be significantly higher, but it isn’t. I don’t want to sell at such a large loss, but can’t see what’s going to push the price up other than a takeover.Good news doesn’t increase the share price and bad news hammers it. We are now in the rainy season in Mali which hasn’t been a good time for Hummingbird in previous years. Let’s hope that’s been taken into account. Let’s see if the directors have confidence by buying more shares at this “bargain price”
Any options granted to senior executives should be share price performance based so that all shareholders benefit. The share price now is no higher than before the mine was built in late 2017. We need good news on developing the other assets if the share price is to go up. Communication from the board is very poor, and this has been pointed out to them on many occasions over the past few years. Come on Dan, give us some news that’s jam today, not tomorrow.
Having been invested since pre initial gold pour, I’ve become used to Hummingbird RNS’s surprising investors, but unfortunately more on the downside than upside. I believe Dan said they would be cash positive in the second half of 2020, but don’t recall we have heard anything about this. Surely such good news would be In an RNS as soon it it happened. Hopefully we will still be completely debt free in the first half of this year. Last quarters figures should be out at some stage in the next couple of weeks and hopefully there will be a positive message going forward- we know the figures won’t be great. We still have very poor communications from the company so really do need a really upbeat message.
I’ve been here since the first gold pour in 2017 and it’s not been a comfortable ride. However the ducks do seem to be lining up in a row. I’ve just topped up at 27.9p and of course it’s showing as a sell. If only Dan could get better at communicating with his shareholders who do of course own the company. Here’s hoping 2021 will bring about that long awaited re-rate and that all the banana skins have been thrown away. We want surprises on the upside, not the downside.
Having held Keras shares in an ISA, following the de merger of Calidus last year, is anyone still waiting for the proceeds . My broker would not hold Calidus shares in my ISA and I had to agree to the shares being sold. The keep saying they have difficulty selling them, which seems odd when the share price has tripled this year. Someone must be buying.
Good to see you on this board NgnInv. I have also been very frustrated with Hummingbird over the past 3 years and took 75% out of my investment in Hummingbird recently, and have started to build an investment here. Both shares are ridiculously cheap and it will be fascinating to see which performs better over the next 12 months.
I recall that HUM sell their gold as dore and with associated costs it is about 10 per cent less than the spot price.
Having been here pre first gold pour, so happy to now be in profit( on paper, anyway). Here’s hoping for a stellar Q2 report, with no negatives to spook the market. It been a tortuous journey hopefully we are coming out of the minor roads onto the motorway.
I can’t believe it. After nearly 3 years I am now in profit ( a paper profit of course). Let’s hope we get a decent run into half year figures. I still can’t get my head round the fact that If Sustainable Capital are constantly selling over a long period, thus holding back the sp. surely they would be better allowing the price to rise and then start selling into strength- far more profitable for all.
Agree with you ngnInv. If Dan isn’t careful, someone could look to take us out at bargain bucket price. This would certainly be a “foul swoop.” come on Dan- with one fell swoop you can scupper the sellers and get this share price motoring to where it should be. We’ve spent far too long on the slip-road watching the juggernauts speed past us.
When looking at profit generated, we need to take into account we are selling gold dore, not bullion.I understand that this price, taking into account costs etc, is about 10 per cent lower than the official gold price. Please correct me if I am wrong. Dan really needs to get out there and sell the story. I’ve been invested for almost 3 years and still down over 10 per cent.
