Boyzee, every presentation for the last 12 months has stated first oil expected H1 2019, not sure why you are so surprised.

I should imagine after the Q1 figures there will be a couple of broker re-ratings. There have been some sizeable discoveries since the last notes came out.

In fact the call on Friday will simply provide an opportunity to hear the operational update for those who cannot attend the AGM on Thursday.

WT you don't have to participate, you just register and they will provide you with dial in instructions. You dial in and listen. If you have a question to ask then they may provide an opportunity to ask it (if you wish), but it varies between companies.

Sounds like Malcy overcooked himself over the weekend, bad hangover is my guess "ummm errr ummmm" still he just about managed to spew out that SDX is his top pick

Just goes to show how lucky we are compared to other companies e.g. CHAR. As Malcy continues wax lyrical about the virtues of SDX Energy. The Company is doing incredibly well, has unbelievably low costs and is generating cash by the bucketful. It is a high margin business and is fully funded for all exploration in 2018, what's not to like?

compare that with HUR (nearly 2bn) and AMER (over 1.2bn) and this is a steal. It's making a lot of money, debt free and the potential for more big discoveries. I think this will run up to 90p quite easily in the next couple of months - the trend is your friend etc.

I prefer SDX to HUR at the moment (hold both). I can see a greater likelihood of the share doubling here in the short to medium term. There are too many HUR shares in circulation whereas here there are only 204.49m.

The most pressing concern atm is that bombs will be dropping in the Middle east sometime soon - surely will have a short-term negative effect on markets.

Sorry I have to disagree - I love hearing about the new drills etc. the market will eventually see value it is basic economics. The regular methods of communication via Vox, Motley Fool, malcy etc. is far better than having to put up with minimal correspondence that I suffer with another of my stocks VOG. They are a shambolic outfit in comparison. Getting regular updates is heaven I can assure you.
