I do not miss the point at all, the media are doing the work in keeping voters opinions in a very narrow band. To run in USA for office you have to have a great deal of dollar backing.

In USA there is only 30% chance of getting laws supported by the bottom 90% people passed, this is a great deal higher for the top 10% supported laws getting passed. So money is what counts and the media are behind the money.

To get people like you thinking it's a true democracy shows they have achieved their goal without 'too many ' assassinations required, so mostly media bringing politicians down.

You only have to look at the Covid Coverage , Ukraine Coverage just to mention a couple.

We are constantly given bogey men which are injected into the media to what they call 'NUDGE' public opinion.

I have a cruiser racer , not big just over 7 metres , 4 Berth , but big enough to have a bit of fun with. Have a good sail locker with 2 spinnakers, one which we used today. I sailed for 20 years in UK , but here it is nice and warm and no tide like in Liverpool and menai straits.

Fair analyst posted some pretty balanced posts , not popular but they were pretty accurate , and were deleted because they were too accurate for the time and emotions that had been created by the media.

I lived with a Russian woman for 2 years 2019-2021 , and her grandmother lived in Ukraine , so I was pretty well informed from both sides.

So I check in here in the morning and again at night , and in the middle I am going sailing

Ukraine compared to Russia is very weak and at some point they will have to call it a day.

This is not a conflict about what you or I think or anyone not involved , it's about pure force that will in the end succeed.

Who you want to win and feel sorry for is irrelevant.
