It's no coincidence that I have a very high percentage of green bars on 'prospective peace talks' than on issues about the company. The reason being is that these idiots are not that interested in the company , more on pushing their personal views on the conflict.

The day before the ex div date and you get the dividend , so you can sell on ex div date but still get dividend

ex div is the day you will not get dividend so to clarify , the share price fall will normally occur on ex div date

as with many dividends this will reduce the share price on the day after ex-div date by normally the same amount at the dividend
