I have been looking at charts Barclay vs Lloyds over the year and 5 days .
On the 5 day chart Lloyds should be approaching 42p if following same pattern
Over 12 months Barclays down 11%
Over 12 months Lloyds down 29%
My opinion is there is huge upside in the Lloyds price over next year or two.
Just thought I would share this obsavation
The big issue holding the banks down before covid was brexit then covid hit
Brexit done and dust settling
Covid done us but the fight is on with the vaccines .Yes damage has been done to the economy but slow recovery over next year to 3 years.
There is light at the end of the tunnel for the banking sector which has been hammered since 2008 crisis to date .
What else could come along to keep the share price down ?

well we only have 10 months to wait
i be happy with any rise ,share price has fallen from 57p to 24p , in 5 months ,
i certainly see the shares price going above the early 2020 price of 57p end of this year
i be happy with whatever the share price ends this year ,
as stated i am holding until £1 which i expect to see next year at some point .
good to have healthy opinions on here without personal attacks

well said Azzurri this forum is about opinions ,if a fool invests on the view shared on here then they will soon lose their money and get their fingers burnt ,which hopefully they will learn from.
Lloyds down 30% on year Barclays down 17% on year.
Ft100 down about 12% on year Dow has recovered all loses
Ft100 mainly not recovered Fully due to Brexit

As stated earlier Lloyds has fallen 30% over 12 months .Barclay has fallen 17% over 12 months .
Lloyds is over sold and will enter the 40,s next week .
Bad news is factored in , one can see how the price recovered today after the Barclay news.
I be happy with any dividend I am in long term now and Lloyds will double up in next 10 months without a shadow of doubt .
