Yes, I thought the shorters would hold it down again today in the £1.20's but they seem to be loosing control now. Maybe they will exit as a disorderly rabble but I guess we would need some good news about Mr Cats for that to happen - but if a big investor knows good news is coming??? Keep an eye on the SP, this could spike, the SP was £2.60 last week there is now reason with lots of shorts closing that it wont top that.

Cats has grown the company, it is his little empire, but it now needs a few corporate types to come in and mature it and take it to the next level.

Shorters are in here very deep now and although it looks like they will make a killing the high percentage of the company shares they control is their main vulnerability - just hold - our time will come.

They are at their most vulnerable when they close and if they all try and close together we will see a spike - that is the time to sell. But that could be days away??

Although the SP will probably open up tomorrow, I think that the shorts will quickly push it back down again. We may have to get used to this pattern over the coming days/weeks. Keep an eye on the shorts closing and the late reported/after hours trades they should give us an idea of where we are. Eventually with a higher proportion of shorts closing the SP will rise to an inflated high - this will be the time to sell.

Take a look at the trades after 16.35 - I guess a lot of these are shorts closing - but we have a long way to go.

This is a pretty extreme situation here with such a high percentage of shorts. It is very difficult to know how long things will take to play out and when they will be closing and taking profits. With so many companies competing there wont be any order to their exit so we could find that the SP is very erratic over the coming days/weeks. When to sell will be a difficult call.

stuart The results were not great but they did point to better to come for the rest of the year. Without the shorts and the personal attack the SP would probably have only dipped by around 5-10% maybe. In certainly wasn't a very intelligent thing to do but I don't think it would be fair to call it insider trading.

I guess Mr Cats has been running TCM more like a private company than a PLC. He has done an excellent job building the company and yes it has been spend, spend, spend, - all for growth. It will probably be the time for a new team to come in and start to transform this company into a "regular PLC" and maybe take it into the main 250 index.

stuart They have to do it this way to avoid continued speculation damaging the SP. From TCM's point of view the worst outcome from now is that they need a new chief executive - if he is cleared we get a good bounce back.

This is still a good investment for the long term - just hold. If this carries on it becomes a takeover target.

If this story is true why haven't the US authorities acted before now. Oozi Cats spent 5 years in charge of a company in Israel during the 90's - a country with an extradition treaty to the US.
