Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Been going back over some of the previous RNS's where the company have stated that their goal is to be cashflow positive by the year end. I'm just wandering how far off people think they are from this at present given the contracts awarded to date?
FYI last year's interims were released on 10th September. Assuming they stick to the same annual date, it should be tomorrow, or Friday I guess.
Good buy Amz. I totally agree that the market reaction is overdone here. It was already sliding due to lack of news recently so the fact that the RNS had "no news" probably just exacerbated the decline...but nothing has changed fundamentally. If you confidence in the company, this type of drop should really just be seen as a buying opportunity.
Thanks Fairview
OK, maybe that's the one that was previously posted. I had already seen that one but thanks for posting. Helpful to anyone who hasn't seen it.
Have to say that this co is really exciting. I have had half an eye on graphene for years, but have yet to see/hear about a really good commercial application, so I find this potential partnership really exciting. I'm very much looking forward to updates on this. Hopefully not too long to wait.
Morning all
Does anyone know if there is much info in the public domain yet about the graphene tech that Verditek are developing with Paragraf (other than whats on the website)? I seem to remember someone posting an article/video a while back on this board but I didn't get round to viewing it.
Thanks!
Thanks Usain, that makes sense. I thought I must have done something wrong in the calculations.
Still a staggering potential value to that asset. The more research I do into the company, the more I like it.
Morning all
So I was doing some back of the fag-packet calculations last night for the potential value of Stemprinter and I just want to ask if my number are right...
1) According to the proactive interview from 22 May the only comparison we have is oncotype dx, which was purchased for $2.8 billion (£2.1b approx) and stemprinter is vastly superior.
2) Tils shareholers will each get 1 stemprinter share per Tiziana share held
3) Shares in issue on AIM = 190m (I am not sure how this works with a dual listing...does the 190m total shares figure include Nasdaq?)
so even if we base the valuation on oncotype dx, then I calculated stemprinter's share value as:
2,100,000,000 / 190,000,000 = £11 per share...
Can't help but feel that I made a mistake here somewhere...that figure seems massive! Can someone tell me if this rough guestimate is right or not?
Hi Tim
Thanks for the sharecast.com tip. It’s weird how LSE fails to Show some rns’s. just looked now and the 23rd Jul Nav report and the 6th August divi report are both showing now...think I’ll use another site for news in future.
Reading the nav report, it all looks quite good so far (touch wood). Nav has dropped as you say, but collections are pretty good all things considered, and it was encouraging to see that out of town warehouse retail is performing/recovering much better than town centre retail.
Sorry to hear you are underwater here. Hope it’s not by too much. I do think this will recover with time though. Even with the marked down Nav, we’re still trading at a massive discount, so as long as Tesco’s and B&Q et al keep trading we should be fine. I find that it’s a bad idea to watch some stocks too closely, and this is probably one where you need to ignore it for a month or two at a time. I’m hopeful that moving towards Xmas we’ll see SP improve.
Cheers
Mike
Hi all
Totally new to this share and doing my research. I always like to pop a post on the board to say hi and ask some initial questions before jumping in.
Initial inspection of the recent trading statement, the numbers don’t look too good, but the SP has fallen a lot in recent months, possible as a reflection of this, so I was wandering if people feel this has now been oversold? Recent director buying would suggest confidence at this level, and the order book into 2021 looks strong, so longer term I suppose this should pick up.
I guess I’m just wandering what people’s thoughts are in general? Worried about the share price movement? Or seeing it as an opportunity?
Many thanks
I've been reading up on this co for a little while now, but not yet bought in. What I'm curious about is what people think are likely to be the next big ticket news items here? The company financials are clearly improving with several new contracts being awarded etc, but fundamentally its still making a loss and they'd need to secure several more contracts to change that wouldn't they? I'm just curious to know what the people see at the next big value drivers here? Thanks.
I could be misunderstanding your question Utah, but isn't it simply because his exercise price was 2.5p and so he sold approx 500K shares at 6.45p to be able to buy approx 1.45M shares at 2.5p....seems like a good idea to me.
I have a question...possibly a fairly obvious one but I'll ask anyway...
If I were to sell some/all of my holdings in Tlou, having taken up the placing shares and therefore I have some options shares among my holdings, what would happen to those options? Presumably I'd not longer be able to buy them back at a later date?
Also if I were to sell half of my holding, what happens to the options then? i.e. if some shares have options associated and some don't, how do I know which ones I'm selling?
Cheers
Hi all. Just discovered this company and starting to do some research. From my very brief scan of the reports they appear to be doing incredibly well, sp is at an all time high. I’m curious what sort of dips would tempt you to buy here? Difficult to gauge what a decent buy-in price would be at the moment. Also do you have any suggestions on where to focus my research as a newbie to the co? Thanks.
Can anyone with more knowledge of share price movement explain to me what is going on with this share price? For weeks it falls, only to jump up on no news with massive buys/sells showing up at the start and end of each session. Now it seems to be yo-yo-ing...I just wish I could pre-empt these moves...
Question about the earlier comment in this thread; why can the raise not be below 5p? Is that stipulated somewhere? Thanks.
I've come to realise something about this share over the years...I've been handling it all wrong to be honest. You could actually make a decent return on it if you just waited for the quarterlies to come out and buy on the dips that they always seem to cause. At some undetermined point in the future when they announce progress in some area-or-other this will shoot back up again and you could make a good return.
Hi TimBob.
Yep, just checked in here to double check the payment date. I’ve already set up dividend reinvestment for this stock with my broker. Feels like a solid long term hold to me.
Where did you read about the latest statement though? Last news I’m seeing is the Rent collection update from 8th. Still waiting to hear about updated Nav...is there another source where this info is published?
Cheers
Evening all. Just started researching this share. Noticing a lot of references to the company wanting to raise equity. I’m curious to know if people think this would negatively impact the share price? Typically equity raises cause a fall in price...no? Is this therefore a potential drawback to this share at present.
Also what is the situation with HSBC? I see many posting about them but not yet found any reference to them in previous Co. announcements.
Thanks in advance.
Hey mole_man, I had similar thoughts here. Also once the economy starts to get back into recovery mode, there's going to be a lot of new startups businesses who are all going to need flexible office space. WKP is ideally placed to provide it.
Hi TimBob
Thanks for the reply. You are right that this board seems a bit quiet. Not necessarily too bad a thing though.
Yeah the company's focus on the out-of-town warehousing space has been a fortuatous one and now that lockdown is being eased, I can see things starting to improve again here.
Looking forward to those monthly divis!
