Thanks for the replies guys.
DTE, could you help me understand your comments a little better though. You say the price is being "walked up" because there will be dilution? Can you tell me how that works and how it makes sense? Who would be walking the price up in the hopes of dilution? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I can't really see how that would make sense or who benefits other that the company/holders?
Hi. I've not been keeping up with Tlou's share price for quite a while now, and just been checking in occasionally (better for my blood pressure that way).
Can anyone tell me why we've been steadily rising recently? Has there been news that I've missed? I'm not complaining mind...just curious to know the reasons.
Yes, its usually a good sign when these forums start busying up with new names etc. Also having the Share price predictors and chartists is always good in my view as it starts to get the company noticed.
Personally I am planning to hold this stock for quite a while. They've got a great product and a huge potential market and actively making sales. As this continues, the costs will come down, meaning we'll attract more sales etc. This is a very promising company in my view and very cheap right now!
From 10% down to flat...I'd call that a pretty positive sign.
How does one get into said twitter group?
Regarding the SP today, I'm just viewing this as another top-up opportunity. We saw how fast it moved on a bit of positive sentiment. All we need now is some positive news flow which I expect we'll see starting to arrive over the next few weeks.
I also emailed Colm a week or so ago and got much the same reply as you Thornback.
I do now believe that they will get a deal signed, but I am not sure how soon. However I believe it should be within the next couple of months...not basing that on anything other than gut feeling and the fact that it is the only thing that matters to the company now, and they will be pushing from all directions to achieve it.
What are people's thoughts on what the SP might do on a successful deal being struck? I realise it totally depends on the terms of the deal, but surely any funding deal at this point should push the SP way higher...it needs to if I'm ever going to see a return on my investment anyway.
Says it all really:
"The Australian company expects a big increase in power usage at the gold project over the next year, which means that Verditek could secure bigger orders in addition to the initial one for a total capacity of between 1.5 MW and 2 MW."
I am quite confused by the price movement here because there appear to be significantly more buys than sells...can someone explain how that's actually possible?
Totally agree igrowmoney, this RNS is very positive and shows good progress in a new market with "massive" potential. RR has been in charge less than 5 months, and already steered us on to a clear path to profit. No matter what the market does in the short term, I am happy with my investment.
I think one thing you have to be careful of is not to build your hopes too high too soon. We definitely all want the next big RNS to drop tomorrow, but I think I'd be happy simply to know that orders are being placed and we're making solid progress towards break-even.
I guess it depends on your time horizons. If you are just looking for a quick profit, my experience is you end up being disappointed more often than successful (or maybe I'm just not very good at trading) but if you are happy to hold for a few months or even years this will pay off big time.
As they place more orders and make more sales, the manufacturing costs will come down due to economies of scale, and as a result they'll attract more sales due to cheaper products. It'll just start to snowball from there.
In the mean time news on the graphene JP might pop along at any time in the next 3 months and we all know what that could do to the SP.
I have confidence in my investment here. Won't be selling anything unless there is an actual reason to do so.

Yes definitely. I believe anything below around 11-12p is a cheap price given the potential here TBH.
The worst of the market drama of recent days seems over now and it feels a lot calmer today. Should see sentiment returning here now.
I think we'll see an RNS soon to show things are progressing steadily.
So I don't know about anyone else, but I'm seeing this as a pretty good top up opportunity actually. Selling some other shares to buy in here. Buy the dips and all that...
Whole heck of a lot of blue trades so far today...seems a lot of people want a bargain!
I am quite confident that this will turn around very rapidly from here. Its unfortunate that recent market sentiment has affected all shares very badly, but re-examining the investment case here, I don't actually see any major reason to panic and sell up.
We've got a great product, a huge potential market, large manufacturing capacity, a big sales team with a great CEO and then there is the Graphene JP still in the background.
If anything I am tempted to sell a few of my other stocks and top up here. You only need to look at how quickly the SP rose off the back of the last order RNS (which was only a couple of short months ago) to know how quickly this will move on the next large order RNS.
Putting the share price to one side for a moment, can someone help me out with some of my numbers. I was doing some back-of-a-fag-packet calcs last night and figured this:
According to the SAF RNS, the recent order of 1.5MW of panels was worth $2.2m (approx £1.7m)
So therefore it could be said that each MW can be worth around (1.7 / 1.5 ~=) £1.1m
Loss for the half stands at around £0.9m, so roughly £1.8m per full year
Therefore would it not be the case that another (1.8 - 1.1 ~=) £0.7m sales (<1MW) would cover annual losses??
I realise that there's a lot more to it that that, and I'm sure I've missed some massively fundamental issue off in the above calcs, but it does seem like they wouldn't need to sell much more at this stage to break even...
More TW articles over the weekend probably haven't helped a great deal either TBH.
I wish I had some more money to add here, because any positive news would cause a big jump north again...
Currently NT to buy on II
Question to the long term-ers on here...those of you who recall back in 2017 while we were working towards the original RFP (remember that?) we agreed a development partnership with IPC which was meant to help find funding partners and "fast track" (lolz) the project.
I'm just wandering what ever happened to that relationship? Is it still the case that IPC will be assisting with the development? Or were they only involved with the downstream development itself, and not the midstream works? I can't really find any mention of IPC beyond those RNSs in 2017.
Hi Bananaman
Thanks for the feedback earlier. Been skimming some of C**T’s...I mean TW’s articles etc. He certainly seems to have it in for VDTK.
I found this co a few weeks back and was quite happy with my sub 14p Entry price at the time...not looking so clever now though. One thing I am seeing at the moment is a lot of stocks seem to be dropping and I’m just wandering if this is just part of a wider drop across the market and not necessarily VDTK specific.
I had planned to hold this for a good few months minimum and hopefully see the positive cash flow by year end. I guess we just need a bit more detail on how many actual orders are being booked from the company to get things moving upwards again.

Thanks Banana
Sorry I'm not yet very familiar with this stock and still finding my feet with it...who or what is TW?
