However, it is just possible you do not have the patience for investments and share dealings! I therefore recommend building societies for you!!

The owners of Ithaca hope to raise £572m in the proposed float although full details are yet to be made public.

I'm very imaginative and am already trying to put two and two together!! I wonder how much they will seek to raise.

Due diligence may be complete by the end of October but the discussions start thereafter and probably will take a month or two. At least that's what i'm hoping for!!

I'm confident we will do so, otherwise it will be next week!

As Dick said earlier today, excellent indications were given by our leader thus the reason why the pace is hotting up. I expect the current trend to continue for a while, which is great as it's lifting the gloom from some of my other oilies.

I suspect many of this morning's trades were buys rather than sells, thus the reason the price has gone up!

I also expect the SP to increase during the coming days and weeks as the end game gets closer.

Yes it was most certainly a buy which gives us holders even more confidence that we are on the right road to a higher SP.
Follow the money is one of the best sayings. I would not be surprised to see more interesting buying in the coming weeks. The MMs are certainly short of stock and the small market size transactions soak up what stock they hold. IMO it would have taken more than a few days to fill that order.

MMs seem to be doing their best to keep the price down as it appears they will not deal in anything exceeding normal market size of 2,000 shares unless it's someone selling. They clearly do not have any stock thus the SP rises even on small trades.

It therefore occurs to me that JOG are getting closer to a deal.

He crossed the notification threshold in early May but has only recently notified the company. I'm optimistic that he's as confident as I and others are. Hopefully all will be settled before the year has ended.

Yes, many of us are still here and I feel that much thanks must be due to Dick in particular who has kept us wondering if we will get close to his end of the rainbow SP figure of £43.

JODO, I have to say I regard JOG as an investment even if it's taking a long time to reach fruition.

The PRU and the many other investment institutions would never dare use the word gambling and would take you to task for so doing if they knew you. I don't live in Islington or the other socialist areas of London so have to agree fully with Dick's comments.

I am also hopeful, indeed optimistic, that we do not have much longer to wait. The SP action is a great clue and I think we will reach £4 or even £5 before any announcement is made.

I have to bow to other investors here who it appears are far more experienced in the field of oil & gas than me who am just used to pushing lumps of wood around an eight by eight board.

Unless a prospective buyer gets itchy fingers and wishes to be the first out of the gate I think we are looking at up to 6 months rather than 1 - 3 but I would be happy to be wrong.

I recall that when Equinor jumped ship the consensus of opinion on this board was that JOG would do well on their own. It looks like happening!!

The SP continues northwards so Jimmy's 10 or 20 shares [are they the correct numbers?] are heading in the right direction. I think we have entered the endgame so not too long to wait now.
