I imagine that a mining concession together with mining contract is just what a JV partner is waiting for plus a reduced capex scenario if possible.

PDL is a good company but you must have guessed by now that there are a number of traders in various LSE stocks who play with borrowed shares so sell down , buy back and then give shares back to nominee accounts who hold shares on behalf of private investors. Sometimes the traders get badly caught out . Better to hold share certificates in a safety deposit box in my opinion .
