Looks as if the RNS has been dusted off from last year as the oh so exciting site visits to finalise plans for the resettlement etc are finishing on 28 APRIL 2016. Very sloppy by all involved especially the brokers and NOMADS who are meant to be a little bit more diligent for their FEES. Did I miss that the financing plans are nearly finalised.

Only 26 months ago TK was all on track to be financed and in construction later in the year 2015. Quite sobering that financiers were looking at this project then. This was the 1-2-1 conference in Cape Town attended by just about every significant PE outfit and investment bank......those that were falling over themselves to get a piece of the KEFI action. Sobering thought.

So Mr Agarwal passed up on the opportunity to buy into KEFI and went for Anglo instead. Wonder why.

No cash call this year ? Are you sure because there will still be a portion of equity to be raised (banks will insist on it) at the same time as debt package including Govt. of Ethiopia. Perhaps you are right though if Harry fails to secure the long awaited debt package in 2017.

Patch6.....I agree with you and I can assure all on here that there are mining funds in Australia and the UK with very fat wallets for good gold projects and Lanstead would be the last resort for any serious management team. At the 1-2-1 conference in Cape Town there were over 100 brokers, funds , ultra HNW investors meeting with 60 companies in the resource sector and deals were being done.

SOE apart , just wondering if there is a fatal flaw here that has been spotted by the financiers. $1242 was a significant breakthrough in gold price and if bullish trend stays intact I expect $1270 in next couple of weeks. This share should be really motoring on gold price but Harry whatsup ? After GM next week I expect selling coming in from the USA ahead of drawdowns unless HAA pulls a rabbit out of the hat.

The one positive thing and looking for a break above $1242 in next week or so. Share price not looking so good though.

One has to laugh at the notion that Lanstead is an institution and long term holder . Just Google "Lanstead destroys value in AIM companies" and you will see an article written about them and their ilk in Shares Magazine of July 2013. Death spiral is mentioned and how they operate.

Lanstead is NOT an institutional investor and are generally known as instigators of "death spirals". I think they were in VAST at one point. What it means is that no other fund in London or elsewhere is prepared to invest in KEFI at this stage. Harry had 3 days at the pre Indaba at Arabella Golf Course followed by four days at the Cape Town Mining Indaba.
