RHPS Tip of 75p1 Feb 2014 21:17
With respect, I would be a little cautious of what RHPS say. I have read so many bad reports on various boards about the publication that I would view what is said of no more than of interest and would never invest on its recommendation alone. As for any target price, well, again, of interest only. 75p is a long way off for ECK which tends to trend upwards at a sedate pace. I doubt RHPS give a time frame for the target to be met, you will find that common practise even from brokers who cover any share. I believe the next set of results will be encouraging on the back of new and renewed contracts but a more realistic share price for the medium term is more like 45p to 50p. Now, that may sound rather boring compared to the like of COMS, in which I have a holding also, but I can live with a slow burner generally easier (perhaps it's my age).
Personally, I find the news and recommendations from growthcompanyinvestor.co.uk is more balanced, unbiased and more researched. Likewise though, I would only use GCI as a source for research, backing it up with reading through as many as the RNSs as possible, studying the Chairmans statements, looking for negatives as well as positives, studying the fundamentals and even looking at the companys' website.
Plenty of time imo to invest in ECK; I don't see it shooting up anytime soon; but who knows, I may be wrong. I originally invested in ECK at around 8p, sold out during some global crisis at around 7p!, then re-invested at around 14.25p; since when I have further invested twice more. I could easily argue the case for me to invest further, but funds are low to non-existent right now without selling elsewhere.
Good luck folk with all of your investments.
