MMs up on 50k to 6.835...................over that and over 215k at 6.825

MM panic over, back to 215k+ at 6.825.

Could be a nice volume day today with some relatively big trades IMHO

80k Sell at 6.825 and MMs go from 215k+ to taking 40k at 6.825,

Thursday 7/7.5p MMs taking 30k at 7.0235, 1k sold, tick down to 6.80/7.30, 3 sells 498 and 2 x 513 and a 100k Buy at 7.10p

Friday opened 4 MMs taking 30k at 6.8, soon rose to taking 215k+ at 6.825, fuelling my hopes for another six figure buy, just a three figure sell and a 16k followed.

If our buyer is back MMs need a seller, not that forthcoming sub 7p so far, but this was the level we saw a few million change hands a couple of months ago. So expecting to see the bid rise, and hoping to see our buyer back today

Funny how some companies do RNS such events and some don"t, mind you still tomorrow and Wednesday to do so..............

IMHO, IT is no coincidence I have said that many a time, Vulpes would have known of this when they took their stake.

I suspect if Vulpes felt the BOD were................the issue is the boards ineffectiveness/ineptitude/ inability and lack of foresight for getting commercial traction (so far)...again IMO. (p.s. a lack of foresight in general too), they would have run a mile five years ago!!!! It is not a kick up the backside they have paid £4m for, it is for the support to bring home what they have worked so hard on, over years and provide a financial runway to achieve that. AIMHO

Some statement to make, following up on the five years Vulpes have been researching us before taking their initial stake. Do you doubt they were telling the truth? Any comments made by members of any BOD could be seen as impartial, and I don"t get the cynicism you feel for that at all.

Thanks for the info re CICON, wasn"t aware that was taking place. WTP, like I say the board were very careful not to get themselves tied up with unrealistic timelines, so as ever news could come at any time, but I rather think the next news will be patients injected, a couple of Patent grants perhaps, and just happy with the knowledge they are working away on all platforms. Catch yer tomorrow guys....................

Afternoon WTP, I think you are a very balanced poster too, never said differently and think in the last couple of years you"re understanding of Scancell has got so much better.

As I said buddy I think all of us have at some time voiced our frustrations, and I would just suggest that we knew some four years ago what we need to get commercial deals on board. Hence we have seen so much clinical development, add ons to the vaccine and now we are ready to start building the all important data needed to support our value pending what will hopefullylead to a commercial deal.

We have seen yesterday how with the third platform Lindy was working away on it since 2015, probably earlier, and it is not until now that we know more about it.

As I have always said very easy to be critical of the BOD, but lets not underestimate them either, I believe we have a very firm stratagy and are well and truly well represented on the BOD.

(p.s. a lack of foresight in general too), I don"t agree with for the reasons I have given, but we agree on most things about our potential, and as I said good posts, I enjoy yours for the very reason you are happy to speak your mind with no malice intended, I am just focusing on the here and now for now and the future, I do think it is harsh to condemn the board for what we just don"t know in so many areas, but yes very buoyed by the realism of the AGM. We are neither rampers for feeling positive or derampers for feeling negative about certain aspects, it is just our opinions, everyone is well able to make theirs. ATB buddy.

There seems to be a glich in posting your message.this morning.............as I have learnt to my cost twice, lol. After pressing "post message" the message doesn"t appear as posted, worse still you lose your entire post. So purely by luck, I copied the post, then pasted it and for some reason that works.

One of the clear mesages from the AGM presentation recording was the enormous amount of work that goes into a platform from concept to eventual commercial realisation. A few of us have considered at times the dual role that Lindy holds with the University of Nottingham and her position as CSO of Scancell Holdings. This third platform could not demonstrate more how beneficial that role can be to Scancell and I found this from 2015, which serves IMHO to be a very good example and this link provides a presentation from Lindy as well.....................

Project Title: Characterisation of novel anti-glycan mAbs targeting pancreatic cancer

Project Aims: To progress the team's work in harnessing certain types of sugars found only on the surface of tumours and engineering antibodies that bind to them, stimulating an immune response against the tumour. To date, Professor Durrant and her team have engineered five novel antibodies that are specific to pancreatic cancer types and hopes to create two more. PCRF funding will also allow the team to test their effectiveness in killing tumours in animal models, before genetically engineering them to work with human pancreatic cancer.

From the links you will find the presentation. So that goes back to 2015, we benefitted from funding from the Pancreatic Cancer Researc Fund and now have been entrusted for a nominal sum to take this on to commercialisation. I believe there are add ons on commercialisation as is normal, and lets hope that comes to an enormous sum. So what seems all the rage at the moment has been simmering in our laboratories for at least four years. Lindys involvement with the University must afford her to see the Oncology Market on a much wider scale, the presentations and networking alone are priceless.

£130k might not seem earth shattering but the use of the Universities resources alone is worth far more and I just wonder if there are more such projects just waiting to join bour ever expanding pipeline?
