Just been catching up on events over here the last few weeks, and have to admire the honesty expressed by nearly all of you. As you know I share your views about the BOD and it was some time ago since I started to hope they would be investigated for the informtion they emparted to shreholders by way of RNS which I believe in the majority of cases was the driver for sticking with the share for so long.
As some of you know too, insolvent trading and conduct of directors featured highly in my business life, in very rare cases after liquidation Directors canbe held personally liable for trading whilst knowingly insolvent, which wasn"t the case here, it was just a wish I had to see the Directors disqualified from holding other Directorships in any companies given their dubious behaviour here. Might that still happen here in the fullness of time?? I rather doubt it, costs exceed any monies that might ever be recoverable, but as a punishment action can be taken privately. Still I don"t think this is high profile enough to warrent action, which IMHO is a shame as I find their conduct more than questionable in leading shareholders on with updates which were IMHO "fancible" at best, but if the hopes existed were real chasing the bottom was a reasonable position to maintain.
Which takes me to the honesty expressed by nearly all of you with the benefit of hindsight available, isn"t it easy in retrospect to have all the answers?? I think the biggest issue which should never be lost is how dangerous BBs can be, and is something which I will carry forward in any decision making I make in the future, and I hope we all do. Yes, it is good reading seeing everybody share your view and hopes, but that is the danger of confirmation bias, in discussions I have had with fellow shareholders in my share of choice I tend to take a negative view, testing their positive view and the problems that still exist and are very real. I think on that we can all agree ""in retrospect"", and we all saw that much that was posted of a negative nature were removed by ADMIN, and to whose benefit was that??
So enough of blame, I think it is easy to see why many adopted a stratagy that added to their losses, as far as recouping losses I abstain, otherwise I would be in like a shot, but whilst we can do little to alter the financial damage done, we can grow as people and as investors from lessons from the past (if we acknowledge them)!! In the mneantime wish you all the best of luck in whatever you do, what we learn is always more important than what we did wrong, just really sorry there were so many very personal rows during a long period of time. My best to you.
