Debs, sorry to hear about your friend. Might be worth her calling UCLH, there is a new centre opening early 2020 which might be very helpful to her, current patients being seen at UCLH McMillan Cancer Centre, Huntley Street.

Why we need a new centre for the care and treatment of blood disorders?
UCLH is now specialist centre for haematological (blood) cancers for people living in north and east London and west Essex. As a result of this change, the malignant haematology service from the Royal Free Hospital moved to UCLH in December 2015. This has increase the size of our service from 50 to almost 80 haematology beds.

Reflecting this change, we are dedicating two and a half floors in our new building on Grafton Way and Huntley Street to a blood disorders medical facility. This facility will be the largest centre for the treatment of blood disorders in Europe.

Professor Lindy Durrant, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer of Scancell and Professor of Cancer Immunotherapy at the University of Nottingham, has been invited to give a presentation on 22 November entitled: "Citrullination - a widely expressed, novel, stress induced post-translational modification that is a potent target for cancer vaccines." The presentation will be focused on the discovery of the Moditope® platform and its translation into an immunotherapy with clinical utility for patients with solid tumours.
