Well done GF, Inan and Wild, and to think GF we are the same person, lol.

Hope everyone is doing as well as you can, getting a wee bit fed up with all this now, haven"t even been reading the BB, met up with one of my exes recently, an nterior designer, so putting my time and recent profits into doing up my flat, you know cushions, rugs, bedding, shower curtains etc etc, the list goes on.

Scancell is our third largest holding and had a disappointing year of regulatory and clinical delays in its flagship melanoma trial and its share price fell over the course of the year. Its planned Phase 2 combination trial with their initial product SCIB1 ran into difficulties with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) due to the delayed approval by the FDA of the upgraded delivery device from 3rd party Ichor. In the event, the trials started in the UK later than expected. Subsequently the required US approvals were received but a year has been lost and results will now be correspondingly delayed. Post period end the UK trial went on hold as a result of Covid-19 risks. Nevertheless good data from these trials could represent a significant value inflection point for Scancell and are eagerly awaited.

AstraZeneca, partnered with the University of Oxford on a leading COVID-19 vaccine candidate, has already inked a deal to supply millions of doses to the U.K. Now, the drugmaker is scouting for partnerships to make the potential vaccine available worldwide.

The drugmaker is in talks with global groups and governments "with the aim of delivering a safe, effective and globally accessible vaccine as quickly as possible,” a spokesman told Reuters. The company will make "every effort we can [to] deliver these doses at no profit while at the same time working on parallel supply chains to supply the world," the spokesman added.

Global organizations involved in the talks include vaccine heavyweights at the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), and Gavi, the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations, the news service reports.
