No, what I was saying was because the waiting rooms are about 60 people full normally that is why consultants have not been seeing outpatients due to social distancing measures in place. It had an eerie feel about the place today, as I said just a few inpatients around, and that is never a good sight. Goodnight.

Normally I have the scans followed by an appointment with my oncologist for results, which are just sent by the radiologists through the system. Unfortunately the appt to see him was cancelled, so re-arranged for next Monday.

Seemed strange being there today after 5 months away, saw enough patients to act as a good reminder for what Scancell actually do. The backlog for new patients is just staggering, the consultants just haven"t been able to work as the waiting rooms are nearly 60 people full, so no social distancing, but they have performed 800 operations since lock down, which is a bit meaningless to me as I forgot to ask what the norm was.

But no, not a good situation there for cancer patients, 50% of nurses have been transferred to COVID wards. Pretty sure we will see the results of all this next year!!!
