Just catching up on the weekly news on Sky and much talk it seems on the Oxford Vaccine and the South African variant, and again news questioning the efficacy of 1st Gen vaccines against the many mutations we are seeing. Nothing there that I wasn"t expecting and nothing there to put me off having my injection. If it only provides 20% protection then it will be more than I have now, but concerned my second vaccination cannot be done until late April. Oh well lets get the first one done, it seems very likely to me that we will be having a few vaccinations in theyear to come.

Good question Nom.........well the painter is the husband of my carer, and they are my ""bubble"", and the guys fitting the dishwasher will be here for a couple of hours tomorrow and I won"t. So it sounds worse than it is for me.

TBH more concerned with going to get my vaccination today and a few trips to UCLH this week, feels a bit strange after isolating for 3/4 months and I see a fair amount of snow has landed overnight.

Can we clear up on one issue. My understanding was Innovate have funded us £2m "to Phase 1 stage"", but not to carry out a Phase 1 trial?? Hence why I feel we will be the recipients of more funding to take us through safety and efficacy?? Is that not the case??

Hence why I don"t think we will be expecting any updates until funding is secured.

Anyone have an opinion on this?? Will loook in in the morning, in the meantime goognight and have a good weekend.

Always hard to know the resources needed to get Approval for Covidity, and I"m not talking financial, but human resources.

I think we could be waiting for news of additional funding before releasing further news about Covidity, I am pretty confident those talks are ongoing.

Yeah very good post. I had queuried a few times the immediate claims of Pharmas insisting that the first gen vaccines were primed to handle the many variants we are seeing and having watched a couple of items of news this week it seems to be a topic of major concern.

I just believe that this virus will be dictating our lives for a few years to come, and it is interesting that we are starting to hear of combination trials at this very early stage . When we see the revenues coming in for the market leaders I just wonder what value would be attached to COVIDITY, if Sanofi for example, without a lead candidate, were to make an offer for our platform?

Well after a pretty volatile week in the market, not too unhppy at the closing SP.
