The most plausible explanation for me re the obvious increase in Likes, is that a link to the ad has been published elsewhere ie. not just seen if you happened to look at the Lung Institute Site only. A guess however.

An unusually low number of Likes on the Covidity ad?

Most “experts” seem to agree that an Autumn booster campaign is essential for 2022/23 winter protection, particularly in the Northern Hemisphere.

I also wonder whether there is some kind of perfect storm on the horizon, given the energy crisis and people unable to afford to heat their homes, eat well, potential interruption to supply etc etc.

Worrying times, especially for those close to, or already below the poverty line.

Ah. It could possibly because of clearing History & Website Data on Safari iPad Browser ie do that and it resets, so you can Like again. I’ve definitely been able to do it more than once.

Anyhow, still not sure of its relevance or actually, how you would ever prove it linked up with any news that might arrive!

Looks to me like (no pun intended) you can Like the Ad more than once. I’ve Liked it previously and was able to do it again today.

I haven’t however Liked it every Friday & Monday for the last few months :-)

I think any discussion around timings is contextual. More than 1 year (eg. 2+) could be considered as “years” and maybe Drac is correct on some elements of delivery / news BUT we reasonably expect multiple inflection points in a shorter timeframe (as you rightly point out and has been communicated formally by Scancell).

JB1 - an interesting theory, although I suspect it doesn’t tie together as you think it might. As a for instance, I’ve “liked” the advert and no doubt so have other SCLP’ers. Can’t remember what day of the week it was :-)

What I’d like to know is where else that ad is being promoted, if anywhere. If just on the SA Lung Institute site, then not going to be seen by many. Maybe there are some ethical restrictions around that, that I don’t understand.
