EKF have issued Trading Updates in January for a number of years and so reasonable to expect another this month.

C7 - totally agree. Despair is to lose all hope or confidence and what has been posted in recent days, is the total opposite of that! Also hard to understand why any poster would think Scancell might issue an inconclusive update? Strange choice of words for me. Based on recent RNS, that just isn’t going to happen.

Worth mentioning for anyone looking for a Red Dot, that one arrived on 22/12 last year providing Notice of Results. This also arrived intraday (09:45). So anyone super excited at seeing one before EOY (if one arrives that is) might be a little deflated when they open it!

Of course no one is looking for a Red Dot during Christmas Trading Days - at all. Just saying :-)

Not sure it’s the major factor but you need to be in here for 30th Dec to qualify for the Feb 23 Divi. It could be related to that, at least in part.

I get the Jan new viewpoint, however still have one foot in the news before EOY camp.

Reason? Not sure I quite buy no one will notice if delivered in 2022, or if delivered in 2023, will somehow be better.

However, each to their own and respect alternative viewpoints.
