Their is positives showing and is looking good : I think we will see newsflow next week. Hold if at all possible
Fab news a great little company and about to become greater and prosperous. So glad I got in here in the early days. Well done VRE love you.
Yes fully agree we shareholders have been left in the dark far too long now, Shareprice now in the doldroms due to a complete lack of news . Total disrespect on the Boards behalf not to communicate Ormonde's present position.
Two Irishmen sitting in a bar in New York one fella says to the other " you loo familiar where are you from ; I am from Ireland he replied; oh be jaysus so am I what part of Ireland ; I am from Mayo says the other ; oh holy God so am I at that the phone rings and the barman answers ; Yes boss all is good here except the Twins are ****ed again.........
This is the best RNS I have seen from this company in a long time. I felt that SpotOn were holding the company back, Linn has finally seen through them. With SpotOn involved the back door was open but the front door was sealed off: now both doors are open and this gives the board new freedom to take Providence to new heights. Providence has now become a more attractive company today and will be able move forward more quickly which will be great news for us shareholders.
Report in the Irish Times Newspaper ; Gas wiil be needed in the Irish state for the next 20 years according to Irish Academy Engineering body. Attemts to have Irelands electricity produced from renewable sources by 2030 underlines the roleof gas - fired power in providing a secure back up. To maintain necessary reliability standards while replacing coal;oil and peat generation for the next two decades. By 2030 Ireland will be almost totally dependant on Britain for its gas supply importing 75% og its Gas needs going forward.
Irish Indo newspaper has a nice article on David Whelan our CEO ; its a good read "
Just notice share price up plus volumes over on Dublin's Iseq. Have not seen this for a long long time.hmmm
Uh thats pension age for me; not sure if i can hold that long as I am with this company over 6 years now and not a penny profit to show for my loyalty. If i sell out now will be at a loss ; needs to reach 1p and i am out. Does not look it will anytime soon. 3 more years ? will Boris be still in charge; ? will Brexit still be confusing as it is at present; ? will the coronovirus still be with us.? will Trump make a comeback. ? will Aminex be still in situ: taken over ; dismantled or one of the top small company in the market. Only time will tell. I will be back in 2024 waving my pension book please God in good health enjoying my relaxed armchair lifestyle.
This part of southern Ireland is in dire need of financial injection, never really recovered from the financial crash of 2008, unlike Dublin. Cork shipping port is currently under massive reconstruction extension to accommodate bigger ships to transport goods directly to the continent to avoid Brexit Britain. The EU is a main contributery financially. This expansion will greatly benifit I believe Providence Res. needs and requirements going forward. Believe me the 3 high profile Minesters in the current Government see the huge benifits this will offer to the local economy plus countrywide. My own opinion is Brexit could be a positive for the Cork area according to research i have done and comments form high profile economist.
Also the Irish Prime Minister home is in Cork, so are two high profile Ministers : Mc Grath Minister for Public Expenditure and Coveney Minister for Foreign Affairs. The latter is also strongly tipped as a future PM. (Taoiseach in Ireland) Barryroe is on their doorstep. Am familiar with this area as my eldest daughter live in Cork City. This will be a huge benifit to the people of Cork and the Island of Ireland. Ireland now more than ever need these assets A because of Brexit and B cost of importing oil and gas.
The negatives of Brexit and will be more to come , what a mess the UK will find itself in the year rolls on. One of my best business buddy's has already moved to Ireland
All very positive going forward: So glad I bought in here 2020 at a low price. Will hopefully be able to increase my present holding shortly with some funds coming on stream.
Its Brexit that has held progress up, honestly I dont believe the Virus is now the problem as the roll out of the vaccines will sort Covid 19. If we could only find a vaccine to solve Brexit as this is a huge dilemma and will cause alot more uncertainty and hardship.
Into a lull here now possible until spring time. But my hopes are high for this share going into the mid 2021. Would hopefully be in a good position to increase my holding when Xmas is all over.
What part of Irl. are you from
I am a holder of these shares for a long long time, the RNS this morning is the best I have read in a long long time. Roll on 2021
Glad i did not jump in last friday. The shares i was going to sell to buy in here have rocketed this morning.
This could be the share of the Bleak 2020
