In the meantime the share price has reached the levels from Feb 2017. I never thought that the world class BOD could be pressured to cooperate or taken over in the early stages.

Mate, I also just only buy physical shares whenever I am bullish. No time factor for me neither.
Remember that I kept holding two large stakes since 462 and 474p(!) for many weeks. But rigtht now I am not accepting a sudden -15% minus on the DOW & FTSE because Donald Duck poops on the floor. Or because I must pay the price for politician wrongdoings (Brexit).
The situation we have right now. Things getting a bit too risky.

IMO Wall Street banks in the background are in preparation for a monthlong selloff, which me, the common man, is not willing to sit out with almost 100k worth (18k shares left). So I will continue to feed the market with shares, for instance during the Santa rally, and then see how the market goes. One can always buy back later in early 2019 after we have a new direction. Even if I miss the initial rise. If there starts a valid long term uptrend, I dont mind if I have to pay 600p.

TA very nice regaining 528p and even higher!
I expect the US market to see a rebound this week, with slight possibility the Fed leaves the interest rates unchanged on Wednesday/Thursday. Lets see if there's a rally into Friday.

Unless theres a super-copper market developing, I will probably use the next bullish waves for topslice further.

I fear the chinese Gov is underestimating the economic impact of a recession. In the past ten years millions of chinese PIs (as well as each and every grandmother!) have been investing and speculating with stocks. IMO the next market crash and yearlong recession starts in China...

How to turn a 10% rise into a fat 4% drop within minutes. Just mention the word Tang and China...

Thats nice 10p in the bag now. Invested in here since three days, from 35p.
At the same time I am getting slightly cautious and will be placing automated sell-triggers (somewhere above 42p). In early 2019 the main markets could see difficult times ahead.

In my opinion long term buy signal onl yif 541 climbed.

Still holding a fair chunk, but will look for more selling opportunities. The Brexit discussion in January could end in some fiasco, and I dont want to be part of that!

I guess in Asiamets case a new RNS means a red day. (Nice to hear of the negotiations. Not so nice that mngmt goes for it now, at their weakest point in the past two years.)

Slight rebound at the moment, and as a swing trader I always give the share another chance. If at least 517p is regained at the end of the day (better 528p) then we are back on course.
If the Sp bounces off at this roof, then its just building power for a furher decline to come.

O/t:
Good to haveat least three decent defensive stocks in the portfolio (Asiamet, Bushvelds and Gcm)! During these times of a possible US market crash.

Top sliced several chunks now, as we never know what could hapen these days (in the US & UK). The breaching of 528p was a good sell-warning (and another one at 517p).
Too many difficult questions in the air.

Next stop here is 506p.
